Birds? Bees? What? I'm pretty sure a lot of people here,myself included, have jobs and bills and are stating their opinion on this subject. Pro or con. People do vote with their wallets. From what I've seen, many EG's stick around on the pegs in my area. Me, I could take them or leave them. If it gets some of the attires or characters out there that I wanted great. Ringside, shut up and take my money. If not, well there's something I can save on. Conspiracy theories? Lol. |

20 years ago this would've been very useful for figure feds because very few entrance themes where only available through CD's. Now fast forward to 2018 and entrance music is so easy to access which really defeats the purpose of the music box. IMO it would be much better if Mattel scrapped it which would possibly reduce the price of the series. As nice as it is it's too outdated and irrelevant for a 2018 toy. I have to agree. A clip of a song on a stand with a crappy speaker doesn't sell me a figure these days for the very reasons you stated above. I would rather have another chair or reduced price. |

Remember the playsets Jakks did like Carlito's Cabana? If much rather have something like that. Like a Miz TV set with an exclusive Miz. Go a little higher on retail. Think like the Heartbreak Hotel set coming out, but instead of being a build set you just can buy it flat out.
Maybe I overestimate the demand for playsets, but maybe not? Surely kids want more than just spring rings?
