Overrated. Its not that he was "bad"...He was solid all around but people tend to rank him in the All Time list way way too high. IMO he was an Upper Mid carder/tag teamer that got lucky he worked in a company where there were 2 World Titles. He held both titles multiple times though so what does “2 world titles” have to do with anything?

So Nivro™'s saying if there was only one championship during the time of his reigns it wouldn't have been him, but rather the other champion. It's like when you have expansion teams in sports. The first year or two of the franchise they all have professional players on the roster, but they aren't the superstars that all the other teams have. He's not saying he was bad, but just not as good as he should have been to be a champion. But he was the best that they had to fill the second title slot.

I think of one of the guys that made my wrestling watching experience so enjoyable. Edge and Christian, Edge and Mysterio, Edge vs. Foley, Edge vs. Undertaker, and so much more.

I just watched the Edge vs. Shawn Michaels Street Fight from a Raw in 2005 that's highlighted in his collection on the network and OHMYGOD they murdered each other. Shawn Michaels was bleeding like crazy 10 minutes into the match. Edge had SO many GOOD matches. He was consistently good.

It's one of the weakest Spears in wrestling. I actually did like Edge a lot, but he did have the worst spear ever. It looked terrible anytime it wasn't off a 20-foot ladder in front of 67,000+ people.

For me it is being in the Brood. That is what I will remember him for. And oddly enough, spearing Cena to help RVD win at ONS 2, and the Matt Hardy chant directed at him. Never liked his Rated R Superstar gimmick.

Great feud with John Cena. #2 heel of the Ruthless Aggression Era.

I just feel like the Spear is a hit-or-miss move when it is basically up to whoever is taking it to bump for them. If they bump like crap, it looks like crap. (See Undertaker vs. Roman at Mania 33) But if they bump and sell the hell out of it, it looks devastating. (Look at Ziggler or Mysterio taking an Edge Spear.)

This is definitely true because although I don't really care for Edge's spear, I was in attendance at that Royal Rumble in MSG and the spear he gave to Rey to end the match was insane. My problem with Edge's version is that it typically looked more like a running hug regardless of his opponent.
