When I was a kid, I remember writing to LJN and receiving some figure release lists like the one pictured below. Wondering if any of the serious LJN collectors out there might have a variation to the one below. I recall an updated version, but my memory is a little fuzzy. I think they missed some of the target dates seen here, and September '87 was added along with a few new character names. Can anyone help me with information or a scan of that list?

When you get a chance, could you post a pic of the alternate version or maybe describe how it differs? I don't own the list above, but I used to own one like it.

I had one of these too. I was always frustrated because I could never find some of the ones that were "available now". There is one version that states that The Haiti Kid would be released, but, obviously, that never happened.

Stupid IMO. He was even less a star that some of the guys we DID get (Kirschner and Jones for example)

Call me crazy, but I loved the fact that lesser known guys got figures made.
To this Day, the LJN figures of guys like Ted Arcidi, Outback Jack, S.D. Jones, Corporal Kirchner and even Hercules is the only way they've been made into action figure form.
I can't believe they've never been made again since. Especially Hercules.

Hercules was vital in the late 80's, good short run Vs Hogan, strong face turn and an underappreciated run in Power and Glory. Hell I would even take a figure of his short WCW Super Invader run.

Those are probably the only figures we’ll ever have of them. I know Adrian Adonis was sort of popular back then but we know that he’ll never get made again either. There were some really great obsure guys made back then...anyone else wish a few women had been made? I would have loved to have seen the Glamour Girls with belts and the Jumping Bomb Angels.

Moolah & Wendi Richter in the 85 set would have been awesome, but they were just testing the waters then. By the time 86 hit, they had cooled it with the women's wrestling. I would have liked Killer Kahn, Uncle Elmer and The Machines.

I think a lot of the ones mentioned would have warmed the shelves as much as the managers. You ran the risk with some that they would have lasted as long as Arcidi and Outback Jack.

I would have also liked to see The Missing Link, Iron Mike Sharpe, "The Rebel" Dick Slater, Tom Zenk, and to go with Terry Funk how about Hoss and Jimmy Jack Funk? How about Kim Chee to go with Kamala?
They would all have been great.

Thanks to undertaker131 additional scans were provided in the original post. Check them out. I'm still looking for another variation that i believe has Harley Race, Billy Jack Haynes, and others on the list. If anyone has that one, I'll compensate you for a copy. Thanks!

Based on the second figure list, I'm pretty sure some of the release dates were reworked. I remember finding Bruno, SD Jones, Magnificent Muraco and Terry Funk together in one wave. Then, Ted Arcidi, Cowboy Bob Orton, Hercules and Jake Roberts in the next (definitely '87 for those). The Hart Foundation and the Bees were pushed to 1987. If the Harts came out as soon as this list says, no way the Harts would have had pink tights. I'm sure they would have been red if we would have seen them in '86. Johnny Valiant, the Referee, and Adonis were all likely pushed further out than this list shows. I recall finding Valiant in the summer of '87. I would venture to say the Referee and Adonis were later than that. Contrary to what user dixol says in this thread, there's a pic from the June 1987 issue of WWF Magazine where the referee was shown at toy fair. I'm guessing the earliest the referee would have hit stores would have been late '87.
Does anyone recall the waves and approximate timeframes they found the Referee, Adonis, Kamala, Outback Jack, Koko, Vince, Billy Jack or Harley Race? They were all "supposed" to precede the 1988 figures, but hard to imagine they were in stores in '87.

Awesome references to have these images. I'm wondering if Hart Foundation and Outback Jack were considered to be "big deals fairly quickly" considering how fast the pink pants' harts did come out and Outback Jack, as well. The Harts should have been in their blue pants or black pants with color striped just based on how long it took for figure outfits to come out. And Outback probably hadn't done much on TV when his figure was planned (but not shown) in the toy fair catalog. I like how the ad reads for "Jim Hart" and Bulldogs A&B as if they didn't have real names. It reminds me of some of the WWF house show newspaper ads, which were probably written by non-fans, especially the one for Mr. Fuji's name as "Mister Fuki"

Man I find that Snuka message very ominous knowing now what we know about the murder. Lots of guys had LJN’s in the 80s that were in and out of the WWF (as others have mentioned, I was constantly asking my mom in the toys stores back then “Who the heck is Ted Arcidi?!”). Even in the late 80s when he wasn’t around, I wanted the Snuka LJN so bad and obviously could never find it. An older kid who was a friend of the family gave me his one day after lots of bitching and moaning… it was a good day 😃
Also agree with everyone saying how cool it is that a lot of these “lesser” guys got figures from LJN. Really would have liked a Killer Khan, his look was made for an LJN, IMO.
