Forty-eight hours after Rashad Evans and Tito Ortiz’s dramatic — and somewhat disappointing — draw at Saturday’s UFC 73 event (www.ufcjunkie.com) has learned that their rematch will take Oct. 20 at the UFC 77 event that’s set for Cincinnati, Ohio.
(www.ufcjunkie.com) first reported over the weekend, a recently created UFC Fight Night event will take place in September. And more specifically, we now know that UFC Fight Night 11 is set for Thursday, September 20, 2007
Midwest fighter Jeremy Stephens (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC), who made a memorable but unsuccessful Octagon debut against Din Thomas at UFC 71, has been granted permission to fight in a smaller organization before returning to the UFC. UFCjunkie.com (www.ufcjunkie.com) received the update from his camp today.

haha.
Did I watch the same fight as everyone else? Because the only round that sucked for Tito was the 3rd round.
First round he got the take down within the first minute with a thundering kick right before the takedown. Which left Rashad a little hesitant to try that explosive crap with Ortiz. Everything Rashad threw at him Tito blocked it. Thats what I hate is when Chuck, Rashad, and Vitor all threw a flurry of punches everyone was like "WHOAAAA DID U SEE THAT!!11"...but look again and you will see that Tito is very good at defending most of the punches. He showcased that in his fight with Evans. Yes he held the fence but what about Rashad dumping out his mouthpiece..he didn't even get punched or anything for it to fall out like that. But didn't anyone say anything about that? Nooo.
I really am anticipating this news. Because hopefully Ortiz can finish him this time, he has seen what Rashad has and I honestly believe a healthy Tito can beat Rashad in the first round.
Can't wait.

Tito's a cheating fag. I hate the guy. My money's on Rashad to let his hands fly in the second fight. on their feet or on the ground and finish Ortiz's BS career once and for all. Good f'n riddance.

He won the title and then spent 2 years ducking the people he knew would take it from him. That taints his whole run.

But in that case, it was a strategic move on Ortiz's part. No, it was bad officiating on John McCarthy's part. He didn't even notice Ortiz until like the fourth exchange where he did grab the cage. He should've been docked a point in the first round. Who knows what would've happened then.

I think Evans knows what to look out for against Ortiz and im pretty sure the ref will do a better job of watching for grabbing of the fence...
I see Rashad winning in the 2nd round....but then again.....My dislike of Tito is well noted
