Good to hear that we will be getting more Goldberg and they can do all the Nelson Frazier gimmicks. Too bad about RVD, though. He was in a leak after all.

There's literally a Red Rooster figure coming out soon. Terry Taylor literally works for WWE. Think about all of these "famous" characters you think Mattel should be going out signing. Then try to think objectively about whether those guys are really going to sell so much better than a repaint of Warrior, Savage, Earthquake, DiBiase, Jake or even Virgil that their likeness rights are really worth pursuing. I'm not saying the Rooster or a hypothetical Don Muraco/Adam Bomb/Greg Valentine/etc. is ultimately going to sell more than a Warrior. Of course not. But when you have a license as enormous as WWE with collectors of so many different kinds (current, flashbacks, NXT, so on), it's imperative to strike the right balance between hardcore collectors, casual fans, random toy collectors, etc. Mattel has done a fabulous job of this in nearly all areas but their selection and variety with legends has been lacking as of late. I'm clearly not the only old school fan who feels this way. A few more bones thrown our way -- say, for example, instead of 5 new legends this SDCC, like 10 -- would be much appreciated. Previous years had WAY more fresh faces in that regard. |

Definitely a lousy sdcc this year. Only want 2 or 3 figures that were showcased this year. It definitely ain't topping the hogan/sting/razor sdcc that's for damn sure. That's subjective man. "Lousy" for a start is surely a "joke." How can like 50 new reveals mostly elite be "lousy?" Oh yeah for sure its definitely subjective. The other 47 reveals dont appeal to me. Nothing eye opening. Maybe Titus. Cause who thought he was getting a figure? But we all knew Adam cole and other guys were coming, alistar black, ronda..etc nothing earth shattering. Sorry, imo. |

I just realized something. In the last few months we got a few hints about Mabel then we ended up getting him. A while back Bill hinted at WCW Jericho and now we hear about him again. So maybe they are hinting at it happening?

If we get Mantaur I hope its for the Ultimate Edition line with his huge head gear. If not then just a regular elite without it. That and Avalanche or Golga would be really cool. Not sure about Golga due to the South Park stuff but Avalanche I could see that. Shark is arguably more obscure since Tenta fell down the card when that persona was introduced.
