Remember how we got some surprises on Sunday back in February? I wonder if we could get that tommorow. If I remember correctly they usually close out shows with at least one more reveal.

To be fair, I feel like the Lawsuit is sometimes a cop out. Looking at the 51 names, 12 of them have already been made into Mattel figures. Adam Bomb, Ahmed Johnson, Ken Patera, The Barbarian, and Butch Reed are the only ones left unmade on that list that would even likely have a chance to be made. Ive only seen Adam Bomb & Barbarian requested. The rest of the guys are almost complete irrelevant. I mean who the heck is Omar Atlas & Donald Driggers? To the best of my knowledge, none of those guys have been signed to new contracts or had figures released since they joined the lawsuit. Whats weird though, is that 2 people who are on the list got figures while the concussion lawsuit is happeneing, (Warlord and Berzerker) does anyone know why they did?

Well since that seems to be it, I just wanna say, as someone who collects current, flashbacks, and NXT, I think this was a fantastic SDCC. I've seen so many things I can't wait to own. And as I've said, I had a top five of things I was really hoping to see, and they showed all 5. I'm more of a glass half full kind of guy, I focus on what we got as opposed to what we didn't. And IMO what we got, was great. Very pleased. I’m with you on this. I collect current, flashbacks and nxt. Almost Everything I was wanting to be shown was so I’m happy with that. I do wish we had more info on the chase figures. Like PJ said im not really gonna enjoy tracking down certain figures if their 1/1000 or so. If there done like the Morrison and Jericho were back in the day that would be cool. Only thing I wish they could have shown were a few more flashbacks of guys like King Haku one of my biggest wants Greg Valentine Hercules Does anyone know if Mr Wondeful Paul Orndorff still has a legends deal. Would love one in red like his LJN figure one one my favorites Even if they just gave us some info on these guys if they could be done or not that would be greatly appreciated. Concussion lawsuit unfortunately.

Yeah, but there wasn’t a lawsuit back when jakks had the license. It seems that anyone associated with that lawsuit is off limits at the moment. To be fair, I feel like the Lawsuit is sometimes a cop out. Looking at the 51 names, 12 of them have already been made into Mattel figures. Plus IIRC Mabel/Viscera was on the docket at one point wasn't he? At least his widow has a beef with WWE but seeing a render for Mabel I'd like to think either he was taken off the docket, was never on it, or the whole case is done

Al Snow, Steve Blackman, Ahmed Johnson, and Val Venis are glaring AE omissions. Also Test, Albert, AE Trish, Hardcore Holly, Raven, Crash, Acolytes Bradshaw & Farooq

Maybe their figures were to far along in the process that the WWE told Mattel they could release them? Or they joined the lawsuit at a later date? Other than those two theories I could guess.

The lawsuit was officially filed 7/18/16: www.scribd.com/document/318679718/20160718-Wwe-Cte-LawsuitMy guess is Warlord and Berzerker, both released in 2017, had their deals signed and their figures were far enough along in production that they were allowed to be released.

I agree, however the current product is where WWE makes their money so it probably gets priority over legends. The lack of new signings indicates to me that WWE (or perhaps Mattel) doesn't really care for the legends that much (except for the big names like Macho, Warrior, Stone Cold, Rock, etc.) and prefer to focus their attention on the current roster instead. I think its possible that WWE has signed some new guys but Mattel is choosing to focus on the current roster and these guys are being put on the back burner. For example, I think Sherri has been signed for at least a couple years now but they are just now releasing a figure of her.

Mattel clearly likes legends like we do which is why they keep producing them. They have restrictions but in spite of that, they deliver. Keep going - keep creating never seen before legends in this line ... Nikita Kohloff, Ivan Koloff, Superstar Billy Graham, Steiners, Haku, Stan Hansen, Rocky Johnson, Tony Atlas, Greg Valentine, Don Muraco, Captain Lou Albano, DINO BRAVO, THE Mountie, Barbarian, The Great Muta, Kevin Sullivan, The Blackjacks, Dick the Bruiser, and Crusher, Killer Khan, and so many more ... GO!
