I actually really liked the questions asked! Lots of emphasis on legends, which I love. The responses were just okay, very non-committal. And Noelle...really needs to go.

Wow. I already wished they never did convention shows and just released info more regularly. The q&a’s were the part of the show I liked the most but this one gave me nothing. The other online q&a bill did was much more informative. I also think Noelle foley should be replaced. That other guy from Mattel who wasn’t Bill I had no interest in hearing from that guy, especially after listening to his input for a while.
So the only thing that I’m intrigued by from that whole thing is with the mention of stooge Patterson and the time he and briscoe beat up the mean street posse. A stooge Patterson head won’t be too good on a body wearing trunks. Also, we will need Briscoe or there is no point.

Did anyone ever ask why Kozlov was the only one to get the elbow pads with the opening?

It gets frustrating having everything shrouded in uncertainty. Honestly, I'd be more content if Bill could just say "we have the rights to Lance Storm, but don't think he'd sell." Instead everything is sort of in this state of limbo where maaaaybe some day they could get the rights to a wrestler. But recent history shows WWE is in no hurry to sign "new" legends to deals, and Mattel isn't taking any steps themselves because their either can't or won't. So instead we get the canned answer of "if they get a deal we'd consider making them" over and over again. I'm sure it's just as frustrating for designers as fans, considering some of the amazing work Mattel is cranking out. But that doesn't make it any less frustrating.
Does any other line deal with this problem? Imagine if Marvel Legends only had 50% of the classic X-Men characters available to them. I don't follow the Star Wars series, but it seems that they've been able to cover a broad range of characters from the classic movies. I'm sure the licensing deals are very different between WWE and other properties. But hearing a bunch of corporate doublespeak and canned comments gets tiring after a while. I don't really follow other toy lines that closely, but from what I see of Lego or Funko, they're much more direct and forthright with fans about what they're working on and why. And that's what I'm looking for, when you get to the bottom of it. Just straight answers, even if they are ones I don't necessarily like.

Regarding the Neon Cowboy Macho Man question, do you think they... A - didn't understand the question B - were insulted by the question C - went mute cos something is already planned that they didn't want to spoil
I ask cos it was such a strange response - not even close to any of the other answers they gave
And seriously (broken record I know) but does Mick Foley have written in his deals that his daughter has to get gigs cos every time she does these it makes the whole thing one bloody painful experience. Was so happy when Tom returned last year but I would also take Tim 'let me talk about my collection' Ash over Mick Foley's daughter any day of the week!!

I loved having Tom in the old figure insider reviews as well as seeing him last year was really awesome to see. Hopefully Noelle isn’t there for too much longer bc her interview skills are not the best to say the least

Can you cite a specific question in the Q&A submission thread that you think should have been asked? We selected some of the most popular questions posted on the thread and social media and even some that weren't that popular to mix it up. It would be great to hear what question you think should have been selected. Skip those retro questions next time! What use are they anyway? I want my figures to be flexible and not for them to just stand around in one pose for all eternity. Urm... a lot of people (myself included) love the Retro figures! I was pleased they were asked about them.

How dare they release figures I'm not interested in!

Guessing it’ll be the First IC Champ shirt and black pants. Or maybe a plain black shirt. I doubt we’d get two shirts. Hopefully a Brico is also planned.

Secondly the molded shirt Macho question was terrific only to get the designers look into space like ing idiots. Yeah, I thought that response was kind of rude. That was a direct design question and they laughed it off like they were asked a ing physics question.

Good thing I just wasted 20 minutes of my life on that Q & A video.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am tired of so much time being taken up by answering the same, "When are we going to see..." questions. They all end up the same, either, "it's in the works," or, "It's possible, if they're under a contact and people want it." Whether someone is "in the works" or "possible," is that really going to affect your future WWE Mattel purchases? I would like to hear more concrete questions answered, like what is Mattel doing about Target's inability to stock new items! I've asked that the past 2 years and never gets asked...

That was a direct design question and they laughed it off like they were asked a ing physics question. Because they are used to fielding the "when will we get..." questions, so an actual question baffled them

We know we’re getting a Bobby Lashley. We know it takes 9-12 months from when they debut to expect a figure. We saw a render of Lashley during the panel confirming he’s coming. Why ask the question? There should be a thumbs down option for comments just for Q&A selections to give the admins the ability to see the questions that we don’t like as well as the ones we collectively like.

I don’t know what Steve’s title is exactly but maybe the q & a’s should be with him leading it up from now on instead of Bill. If he, the head designer, can’t answer design related questions, nor anything else, why interview him? Move on to someone else who can

Skip those retro questions next time! What use are they anyway? I want my figures to be flexible and not for them to just stand around in one pose for all eternity. Read Chicago's summary and some of the questions I wanted an answer to weren't even asked. So, here we go yet again: Any chance of ever getting: Do you like repeatedly hitting your head against a brick wall? When will people learn that you can NEVER ask Bill "any chance of getting" followed by a list of two or more names. He will always always always say, 1) " Not all are under contract, but we'd love to." 2) " Some are possible" 3) "We are working on one of those right now" 3) "[or some variation of the above]" For the love of Christ, can people stop asking questions with lists in them? Bill will NEVER run through the specific names. If you want to know about someone then ask, "Can we get a Hollywood Hogan now that he's reinstated?" STOP ASKING, "Is there any chance for a Hollywood Hogan, Scott Steiner, One Man Gang, Greg Valentine, Barbarian, etc." or 99% of the time you will get one of the answers above. (Stand ovation) I think this should be the heading for next years SDCC thread. I agree with you 100%, once we get rid of questions like these, we can actually find legit answers to the other questions we have. (And not waste our time when we already know Bill's response)
