I love how everyone hears ECW and thinks that means they are gonna give us guys like Taz, Douglas, Sabu, RVD, etc even though we all know they're not under deals. Its gonna be Matt Hardy, Bobby Lashley, Mark Henry, Big Show, and/or Kurt Angle. Maybe from the originals we get Eddie Guerrero or Rhino. This is how I was looking at it as well. Sabu, Douglas, Scorpio, Saturn, Axl Rotten, and Balls Mahoney are all part of the concussion lawsuit. RVD and Tazz don't have deals. We heard from Tommy Dreamer that he was offered a Legends deal but didn't sign it. When I hear ECW, most of those names are the guys I associate with it. Ravens lawsuit was ended so maybe he can get back in the fold. Perhaps they can work with the estates of Candido and Awesome, but I don't expect a FTITL ECW guy. Maybe like a Dudley or Bigelow repaint or something. |

It was only done yesterday, last years one took 2 weeks to go up i think i read SDCC last year was 7/20 - 7/23 and the Q&A video was uploaded to youtube on 7/25 |

This was my feeling as well. I assume they’re giving us WWECW but have a sliver of hope we might get one of the OG guys we don’t have yet. Curt Hawkins is a huge ECW fan. So at least he’s on our side in trying to get figures made. From who we can conclude that has a merch deal, there's not many originals to do. Here are the original alumni that we know are under a deal: Superstar Steve Austin: I highly doubt this. Ringmaster didn't seem to sell well and his ECW run is even less remembered. Plus you'd think they'd give us Stunning Steve if they did another non Stone Cold. Bam Bam Bigelow: His legends figure without the entrance gear is what he wore in ECW. He also had a gray version of that attire but doubt they would do something so bland. Especially with purple flames or 1987 attire that would look better. Eddie Guerrero: This seems likely considering Bill's love of patriotic attire. Dean Malenko: His ECW attire is no different than the elite we already got. Chris Jericho: They haven't given us any WCW yet and barely any Attitude Era either. ECW seems very unlikely. Rhino: This is possible but we'd probably get an Attitude Era Rhyno instead. Paul Heyman: This seems like a no brainer but don't see it happening outside of another BAF set. Cactus Jack: Also doubtful since we've already gotten two Jacks and his last elite is pretty much what he wore in ECW. Eddie and Malenko, too. I’d take Rhyno, and Heyman. My main wants are guys like Raven, Jerry Lynn, Sandman, Impact Players, and Corino (who works for WWE). Pretty much anyone who got an OSFTM’s Figure is someone I’d buy as an Elite. Plus, the few we missed, like DD and Roadkill. Would be cool to get some of the valets as well. Again though, not expecting any of these outside of maybe Corino. |

Eddie is probably the most likely to get made because he wore USA attire which Bill seems to love. They have said that not all backstage guys are signed to deals. Not sure if Corino or other guys like D-Von are signed to anything other than their regular employment contract. |

Thank You Chicago for taking the time to post a summary of the Q&A.  I cannot believe that we FINALLY got real answers to the questions that many of the members here have been asking about for a long time!? Kudos to Steve, he should become the new face of Mattel on WFigs as he has given us more information in one day then Bill ever has- at least in the time I have been a member here. I am stunned to here that Greg Valentine is not signed to a legends deal?! He was under contract in the past and they let his deal lapse without releasing even 1 figure- why?? Interesting to here that if they are ever able to make figures of him that they would make the same exact versions that Jakks did- why no Dream Team Valentine?! Very disappointed to hear that none of the guys I would like to see figures of are under contract. I guess that means that I am done collecting for now- if they ever get the rights to make figures of Valentine, Martel, Haku, Hercules and The British Bulldogs then I will return. The only thing that I am currently interested in is Mean Gene and the rumoured Steamboat elite- if it ever materializes?! Yeah, that really sucks. Guess I'll grab what remaining guys I don't have (there's only a few) and be done soon as well. I think the only legends remaining on my list is Demolition (paying out the ass on EBay). And then we have coming up -- Ron Simmons, Rooster, Harley Race, Mabel and Backlund. I'll get Surfer Sting and the WCW Goldberg for sure, maybe the new Warrior. I see no need to add Pat Patterson, lol. I use the Jakks Sherri in the black dress and I love it so don't need that new one. The ECW deal is likely what is presumed -- WWECW guys, not the edgy guys we would really want. Can you imagine Sandman and Sabu as an Elite? No, me neither because it'll never ever happen, lol. |

Entrance Greats getting phased out after one year is fantastic news. I have no idea why that line was brought back in place of DM - people didn't want less for more money. If that Asuka is anything to go by for Ultimate Edition, it's going to be our gateway to get those dream Elites that would've never came to be in the modern lines. I'm picturing some crazy neon cowboy Savage with tons of colors and all the accessories, a heavily detailed Ultimate Warrior w/ duster, HBK in fully deco'd entrance gear and attire (please be One Night Only!), some of Flair's more lavish robes, etc. We don't entirely know what this line is going to be or how it'll be released, but here's hoping that's essentially what it is. Hopefully the Warrior would be either Halloween Havoc or WM12 and Rumble 90 Macho. I'd take those but would prefer Fall Brawl over Halloween Havoc and Rumble 91 Macho over Rumble 90. Also, add IYH vs Goldust and KotR 96 vs Lawler - both great attires with a duster. |

I think Justin Credible could be one of the ECW names. They were helping him out with rehab so maybe they struck a deal.
