Eddie and Malenko were listed. Eddie is probably the most likely to get made because he wore USA attire which Bill seems to love. They have said that not all backstage guys are signed to deals. Not sure if Corino or other guys like D-Von are signed to anything other than their regular employment contract. Yeah sorry totally missed that you listed them. I’m curious how that works when they’re agents/backstage. Like we are getting more Road Dogg and got Arn but we don’t have Kidman yet. We also got J&J and I don’t think they were signed to talent deals beyond their backstage roles. So yeah, Just general curiosity on how that works for Corino. I’m really not interested in guys like Malenko/Eddie/Jericho (or Rey) getting ECW figures. Primarily because there are a ton of WCW looks I would still love to have of them, but also because I don’t want Mattel to use them as an excuse in saying they gave us ECW guys. Merch, agent, and performer contracts are all separate types of contracts. Arn was a part of the Horsemen and Road Dogg was part of DX, two of the biggest factions in wrestling history. Having them signed to a merch deal allows WWE to use them for tshirts, video games, figures, etc. Corino and Kidman don't have that same kind of marketing value. Maybe they weren't offered merch deals, maybe they were and declined. When J&J became on screen characters, they would have had some kind of separate performer contract. And it would make sense if all performer deals have built in merchandising releases. There are plenty of former wrestlers who would gladly sign merch deals I'm sure. It's just a matter of WWE offering them. And to date it seems like WWE has been very selective in who they have signed to contracts, leaving the pool of wrestlers for Mattel to work from pretty limited. |

Not interested in Sherri?! Not really, I never liked her character because I was a Miss Elizabeth fan and didn't like it when Macho dumped her to team up with Sherri.  On second thought, Sherri would go good with my Macho King figure so I might pick it up depending on how its released- hopefully they stick it in the main elite line so everyone has a shot at getting it. Damn, just when I think I am out, this hobby sucks me back in!  You weren’t supposed to like her lol. Besides being pretty, miss Elizabeth was useless. |

You do know that these take time to make don't you? yes I know thought they would of had renders of them like lashley signed in April and he had a render I have been collecting Mattel figures for ages I know they take time and also you said lashley looks terrifying did you mean that in a good way or a bad way? Lashley signed in January though |

An Epic Moments Edge Heads/La Familia would be awesome. Have all in purple or blue camo, give Edge a cloth coat, a world heavyweight title... could even throw in some SmackDown tag titles.

in my ranting and raving i forgot to mention the King Mabel i guess its kinda still a ways a way. So it slipped my mind. If that figure turns out like the render. It will be incredible if they pull that off. Theres so much unique molding and detail. Mattel makes the best fat guy characters. They do! Nia Jax is the perfect example. All the Nia Jax figures have been utterly outstanding! |

I'm shocked no Lars. Especially after WWE demanded he be rushed into WWE 2K18 as DLC last year and people questioned it because we didn't know what type of push he was in for.
I'm surprised they didn't at least have a figure render. Other people who came in later got shown.

Mattel's product is superior but JAKKS business plan was just so better developed. Im not expecting to see Johnny Rodz figure on a shelf but when you at one time has the rights to a guy who was an IC & Tag champion and is a member of the HOF and you've whistle dicked around for so long the contract has ran out with out getting a figure made. Its just asinine. Bill wanted us to support the line so we could get the guys we want and I have shelves full of crap like Edge, Christian, Matt Hardy, John Cena & Eddie Guerrero in hopes that Id one day get my 80s roster complete. No more. My money goes 80s legends and nothing else. Ill focus my money elsewhere to another toy line. Marvel Legends is looking pretty good right now. |

If they know someone is signed for a year like a Valentine, and it takes 9 months to make a figure, why not make that priority A. I know they plan lineups so far in advance but leave a blank spot for someone on a short deal and let the rest fill in. Worse case you either have 5 figures or go ahead with a repaint |

Maybe Lars was apart of the NXT basic line but because that got scrapped, they were trying to figure out where to put him in the main basic line or convert it into an elite. |

I also don't understand why they gave him the boring face and not a wild eyed crazy head. He needs at least 2 extra heads. a crazy one and a classic howdy doody one from 70s. That would be awesome - a spare 70's head and a spare "crazy" head, plus those chicken-wing hands. Throw in a jacket and/or towel and you have the perfect Bob Backlund figure... |

The hammer himself wouldnt b a reliable source. These legends never know whats going on merch wise.
If u ask Honky tonk...he's in the videogame every year....and he tore up his legends deal and isn't with WWE anymore.
Meanwhile he hasn't been in the game in a couple years, and they have a new figure of him on the way

This year was such a major disappointment for anyone who collects Flashback figures...not much at all to get excited about. The two best showings was the Honky Tonk Man and that new Warrior...which are not new faces but great looking fugures.
