Wwe retro series 4 has hit target stores in West Virginia. Just saw it on Twitter & Facebook. Pics were included. Anyone have the UPC or target code for this series?

It was cool to get the silver ECW belt, however the Matt Hardy is essentially the same as the shopzone Exclusive. Summerslam* I think he wanted to say the exclusive WWE Shop 2 pack.

Hence why I said I dont care any more. Mattel's product is superior but JAKKS business plan was just so better developed. Im not expecting to see Johnny Rodz figure on a shelf but when you at one time has the rights to a guy who was an IC & Tag champion and is a member of the HOF and you've whistle dicked around for so long the contract has ran out with out getting a figure made. Its just asinine. Bill wanted us to support the line so we could get the guys we want and I have shelves full of crap like Edge, Christian, Matt Hardy, John Cena & Eddie Guerrero in hopes that Id one day get my 80s roster complete. No more. My money goes 80s legends and nothing else. Ill focus my money elsewhere to another toy line. Marvel Legends is looking pretty good right now. Yeah, that's what has ticked me off as well and its not the first time they have done that. We got 3 faces of Ottman and Tenta in a pretty short time span yet they can't make even one figure of Greg Valentine. According to an article I came across on the web, legends deals tend to be for 5 years, that should be plenty of time to get 1 figure released. I think the same thing will happen with Billy Graham- his legends deal will run out before they decide to make a figure of him and then who knows if he re-signs and how long that process will take. I don't understand the logic here on Mattel's end- you can't tell us how you supposedly love legends and want to make as many as possible on the one hand yet on the other hand you have legends signed but refuse to make a figure of them?! I think they only reason Sherri & Backlund are getting made is because people have been clamouring for new faces in the line and these guys are among the few that are signed so they decide to FINALLY make figures of them to try and appease the fan base. None of the big 80s names that are most requested (Valentine, Muraco, Martel, Haku, Hercules, Dynamite Kid) are signed to deals and Mattel is already planning out releases through 2020 which means there is no time to get some of these guys signed and a figure made. Factoring in the time it takes for a figure to be designed/produced (6-12 months) and the time to find a spot for it (1-2 years- at least that's what it seems for some figures), the end result is no time for any of these 80s guys to be made if WWE decides to sign some to deals. It seems like WWE doesn't really care to sign some of these guys to legends deals- perhaps the concussion lawsuit has soured them on dealing with the older legends even though none of the names mentioned above are involved in the lawsuit?!

Let’s assume he was under a deal when the legends line was going on, do you think mattel would wanna make him when they know how big of a flop that line was. My guess is that when the had the rights to him it was during that time but they saw how bad the line did and they didn’t want to do as many legends with less flashy attires that were less well known.

This year was such a major disappointment for anyone who collects Flashback figures...not much at all to get excited about. The two best showings was the Honky Tonk Man and that new Warrior...which are not new faces but great looking fugures. Backlund, NAO, Sherri, Mabel, Patterson, Goldberg, Sting, Dude Love, Triple H, Dusty, Paul Bearer, JJ Dillon... just for starters. Half of those are repaints- they have already released figures of NAO, Surfer Sting, Triple H, Undertaker, Dusty, Paul Bearer & Hacksaw Jim Duggan. The only real 'new' ones are Backlund, Mabel, Sherri and Patterson (who the heck wanted this guy- he will surpass Tito as the biggest shelf warmer IMO).

Considering the amount of new tooling going into Undertaker, Hacksaw, Road Dogg, & Mr. Ass, they’re not repaints

This was my feeling until I saw the awesome stuff they showed. But I’m still boycotting Raw and Smackdown personally same. Both are trash I've started to just watch "This Week in WWE" (and the PPVs)... saves a lot of time and keeps you up to date with things nicely.

My issue with that Sting is that Mattel didn't even bother to change the torso or legs. It's a problem ALOT of people were having with surfer Stings. They were able to change Ron's so no reason to leave this as is...

You do know that these take time to make don't you? yes I know thought they would of had renders of them like lashley signed in April and he had a render I have been collecting Mattel figures for ages I know they take time and also you said lashley looks terrifying did you mean that in a good way or a bad way? Whether they are working on guys like Lars, EC3, etc. or not, it doesn't mean they're going to show every single thing that they're working on. They could be shown at Ringside Fest... or one day they could show up in a store out of the blue.

I think he wanted to say the exclusive WWE Shop 2 pack. He did. But the figure has the same scan as the summerslam matt. Just different colored pants.

Back when we questioned E19 Ziggler becoming an out of scale figure with his larger limbs Bill said it’s easier to get a wrestler (or the WWe) to sign on being bigger, but it’s near impossible to go smaller. But it would have been nice to get larger legs at least. That said it is what it is and that will be what his parts look like for any Surfer Sting. And it seems all WCW guys share the skip legs day at the gym physique. Sting, Simmons, Harlem Heat all share that body now.

Did we hear anything about the KOTR set with Austin, Race, and Jake the Snake?

Yup same head and hands as SSlam Matt but that's it. Also look close, the pants on the ECW one are a completely different design and color scheme than the WWE shop one.

However, Mattel said the same thing about the rock and they were able to revert his torso back to the Austin one. There’s really no excuse at this point. The same applies for the wolfpac Sting, he needs a wider torso like the upper one used on the hoc eddie yet they chose to give him a thin one. Not sure why Mattel has so many inconsistencies with their Stings... I’m okay with Stevie Ray having that torso because he was a pretty big dude. I’m sure if we were to speak up about this matter or at least let Mattel know something could be done about it. That was the case with Ron Simmons.

We have spoken up about it since the GAB Sting was first shown at SDCC that year. They changed the boots from laced to lace-less, and with the Network Spotlight they finally made the Basic Sting figures the correct height. But for two or three years of voicing our opinion about using the Austin torso and thicker legs they haven’t addressed the torso or legs so I doubt they will now.

While we are talking about Sting, how about no more Surfer Stings with green boots and green face paint? Of all the possible color combos, they go with a 3rd one with green? It’s ridiculous.

Sorry if this has been answered and maybe I'm nuts but wasn't there a Marty Jannetty Elite figure being done to go with the Gamestop Shawn Retro? Because if not, I'm not buying that Gamestop Shawn, lol. Thanks.
