Seems everyone finds something negative that overshadows the whole showing. I just want Bill and Mattel to come back and have a more prevalent role on WFIGS again. All I want is my 1998 singlet crow Sting and I know for sure we're not getting a proper one. All I'm asking for is a thicker torso (the hof Eddie would work), taller ACCURATE boots with all the buckles, a new headscan with his longer hair covering his ears, hawk arms, wrist cuffs, scorpion design on his chest and those unique shoulder pads he wore during his match with ddp on nitro 1998. Also, a new taped bat should be retooled. It's not a hard figure to make, I mean look at how awesome the sdcc undertaker was. I doubt they are gonna do that unfortunately. Look at how new tooling was used for the defining moments sting and they still made the torso too small. The figure looks good with the jacket on but weird with it off I agree. I personally think it's not the torso, but the unproportionate thick legs they have him alongside with the inaccurate short boots. It would be a miracle if they would retool the figure. I'm guessing the most Mattel would do is give him the hall of fame eddie upper torso for his singlet. I'd take that over the wolfpac and xpac torso in all honesty. Hopefully Mattel gives us some wcw flashbacks, that's all I want and last year I was disappointed. |

Could release him in a Build-a-Set group. Buy his figure and 3 others and you get the Brother Love Set, though, I'm not sure who the other figures in that set could be. I know Jake and Warrior had some memorable moments on the Brother Love show. Savage and Sherri were on there a lot. So to were Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire. Didn't Earthquake injure Hogan on the Brother Love Show? Any combination of the figures above would make for a great set. But, this is all just wishful thinking right now. |

Maybe im taking this too literal. Actually, I think you are just misinterpreting what he said. My take on his comment is that all types of collectors (current roster, flashback, golden era, attitude era, etc.) will not be disappointed. This means that they will be showing figures that will satisfy all tastes, which is a bit of a tall order IMO. From what I am seeing on the boards here, both legends collectors and fans of the current product want new faces so if he intends on satisfying all collectors then he better be showing us a lot of 'first time in the line' figures. |
