Hello, we live in Southwest Florida. I don't know if that means anything lol, but our landlord for where we live is saying the thermostat needs to be 15 degrees lower than what it is outside or it wont function properly. Is this true? its 91 as of right now and my ac is set to 78 and it is still not turning on. The inside says 88 degrees at the moment. Its a new system inside and out. So I just cant believe that this AC wont function at a setting on 75. Anyother house or duplex I been in there ac works with it being this hot outside and the degree set at 75.Im thinking they just don't want to put out the money to send techs out here.
