I cant pick. They both have their pros and cons. In the summer I spend my off time in a swimming pool, mostly. There are fairs/fests. I crank my AC so the light bill is high but I'm not sweating in my house. But there are bugs, I sweat most of the day at work, and humidity.
In the winter I crank my heater which is much more expensive than cranking the AC. I make a great money in the winter because it snows and I get lots of overtime. But the days are shorter so I almost always feel tired in the winter.
As a kid I loved the snow because it was fun to play in. As an adult I hate getting that 300 dollar gas bill every month.
As a kid I loved the summer because it meant I had a few weeks of no school! As an adult summers lose a lot of meaning because you're going to be working anyway.
As a kid I loved winter because it meant Christmas was coming up so presents were on the way. But my Birthday is mid summer so that gift thing balanced out.
At this point in time I'll say I prefer winter. Just because of comfort. In the winter if I get cold I can bundle up and feel more comfortable. In the summer if you get hot you can only strip away so much clothes and then you're stuck feeling hot and humid anyway.
I say Winter, but it's a moot point because fall is superior to both of those. Fall is my favorite season...... Halloween.... nuff said.

Winter. You can cover up from the cold, but you can’t beat the heat.

Although there are things I like about each, I prefer winter. I'm an introvert, so winter allows me to spend more time just thinking and reading if the weather is cold, etc. There also seems to be fewer distractions, so I can focus on the things that matter to me, and since the sun sets later, I am more tempted to not go out and also get more sleep.

Winter.
I'm not a water person and as I'm in my early 30s now I really get nothing but mean looks when I check out college girls in bikinis so really all summer has to offer me is stupid level heat and sweat. Pass.

Winter all the way.
I live in mid Ga, it was 92?94? Yesterday, I don't know. It was another record high.
We are finally about to see some fall weather starting tomorrow. Highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. It was a little cooler last week after the hurricane came thru fortunately (no power).
I teach, so I have a bit of a break in Summer, but that heat and humidity is no joke. I couldn't deal with constant snow and stuff either though.

Winter in Ohio is unbearable to be out in. Wind will chap your whole face. Summer may be sticky but its okay to be out in.

I live in VA, and we get some quite erratic weather patterns. It's been unseasonably warm until last weekend. Temperatures have finally fallen into the 30s and 40s. It feels and looks wonderful outside. Bring on those cool, crisp days!
