Anyone else seem to be losing interest in the lines? I am a flashback guy so maybe it’s different because we don’t have as much coming?i haven’t even picked anything up since the Walmart Elites hit. Nothing really interests me and when I do find newer stuff, I have passed on it. I hate seeing stuff I paid full price for half price and under so maybe that’s one reason. Maybe I am tired of the repaints? I. Don’t know what it is but I just haven’t really been excited about collecting lately. Hoping SDCC changes that.Anyone else in the same boat?

SDCC will change that. I get that way every year when news/ releases slow from May-July, then Bill drives his hype train into San Diego.

Yup I still want stuff but I just don’t care much anymore. I’m a flashback collector and there’s not enough regularly or easily available. Lack of announcements/lineups and images kills this place a little for me too. When we do see stuff or hear stuff I have no confidence in when I’ll ever see it to purchase.
**The way the relationship deteriorated with the Mattel design team and this forum has been a turnoff to me. **

No, I am the same as I always been since the Legends line ended. Just hope some good Legends/FB and the few modern guys I like are announced. Anything else I buy is just gravy.

I go in and out. Stop collecting for a few months, then buy 20 figures one random month. I've learned its a love/hate relationship... but i know not to part with the collection or i'll hate myself later, as many here have done in the past.

Yep. Lost interest in wrestling in general. If we actually see some new product I might care

I have completely lost interest. I've sold more than 60% of my collection already. I'm only keeping some, but I'm not going to buy anymore.

As a "flashback" collector, I do occasionally get the newer guys if they look cool -- like the Drifter guy from NXT from Series 60. I don't really follow WWE much anymore so the figures are strictly sold to me on the look or if they were in NXT a while back when i was watching that. I am really ready for some NEW flashbacks were they haven't already made 3 or 4 of them already. I love Andre and got the new on from 60 from Ringside with the Drifter but I am ready for more characters that we've not seen yet by Mattel. 80's, 90's, 00's, 70's -- whichever. Just fuel the older collector's drive, Mattel.

I sort of did, it came and went fast. I got so many rare ones.. SES Punk, E12 Outsiders Nash, E12 Kane, Goldberg, ect. Now my stuff sits in a tote.

I have been, and I've mentioned it in quite a few threads in recent weeks. It sure seems stale at the moment. (Also primarily a flashback/legends collector.) But I also do firmly believe this: SDCC will change that. I get that way every year when news/ releases slow from May-July, then Bill drives his hype train into San Diego. It's not the first time I've lost interest around this time of year and usually SDCC knocks it out of the park. So let's see how next week goes before writing the obituary.

I suppose one could say that. There are still figures I'm excited about (Dude Love, Alundra, FB Flair, and the Retros for instance), but overall? Yeah, I'm not really interested in much as a whole.
I'm kind of feeling that way about a lot of things though. I'm more meh than excited for Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black figures too, but a lot of that is because of terrible distribution.

I wish I could be confident that sdcc I’ll change my opinion but the last two sdccs were not good
I haven’t completely lost hope at least

It really all depends on what Flashbacks are shown at SDCC ...
The few and far between legends releases are getting slim and I really have only truthfully watch the Royal Rumble & WrestleMania all year long ... I’m slowly losing interest, but the Golden Era and Attitide Era figires are the only thing keeping me around.
Guess I’ll know my answer after this years SDCC 👍🏻

No but I’m the same, mostly the flashbacks for me, and just the guys I really enjoy with the modern era. My big issue is distribution and getting the lines in the stores.
