When did you first discover WFigs? How were your first couple months? What were your favorite "eras"?
I was just looking at my sign up date and it just put me through pure flashbacks on this forum. I've been lurking this whole forum since I was about 11 and I'm going on 23 now and it's been a blast no matter what crazy crap has happened lol. I can remember the days of "Steve blackman", the petey Williams guy and The days when the banter board was hugeeeee. Just crazy looking back now.

when I was younger, I used to google ‘wrestling figures’ for whatever would pop up. I ghosted the site for a while before joining.
it has certainly changed throughout the years. the wf:canada board was once buzzing, and had all types of characters. some I met in real life and became friends with. unfortunately I don’t have contact with any of them any more.
some of my favourite bands, movies and other interests were brought on by people I met on this site during the heyday.
I still have fun here. it’s not as full of activity as it was, but neither is wrestling, so it’s fairly fitting. it’s actually gotten better imo in the last 2-3 years due to a core base of members being active in the wwe board.

Same thing Google “wrestling figures” or “wrestling forums” & bingo this forum pops up.
I’ve been following this forum for years. Signed up last October. I was on many different types of forums & wasn’t looking to sign up on for this one. Then I took time away from my other forums to signup here & post more often then the others. It’s a total different feeling being able to post then to just lurk on forums.

I believe it was in 2002, when a TTL Brock lesnar figure search led me here. I remember learning about the 10th Anniversary Raw figures that had TTL style figures and a new design that became Ruthless Aggression. Since then, I have been through many figure botches, grails, needs, wants, and some very odd conversations. I remember the boat loads of crapjeremy caught for the TTL arms on CS Taker, the R3 Bigshow in AD1, BallStraightCall, Mr.Nrrrgs awesome figure fed ( I stole the Orton/Chavo sons of Fate tag team for my own fed back in the day), The Kangol hat dude that worked at TSC that turned out to be a d bag, the okd BYW fed that had some sick matches in it from The Chad. The Great Debate of Benoit and the dark times of being a WWE fan. Mattel’s take over of WWE merch and people worried about them being Barbies. I’m 30 now, and I have spent more than half my life on this forum.

In Jan 2006, I was looking for a Walmart Exclusive RA Cena that came with a toy US Championship and Orlando Jordan and came across this forum.

I googled wrestling autograph signings. Which ultimately lead me to these forms. I don’t even collect figures. I just thought this board was chill.

Kinda hard to remember but when I saw ACG in the WWE magazine (advertising their exclusive figures) and if memory serves me correct there was a guy that would do figure reviews for them and he had his own site with WWE protos, reviews, customs etc which was a forum called (I think) Customs-Etc. So after seeing his customs I’d google “WWE custom figures” where I found all these random sites like WWERulz.jp, pats pics and eventually WF. Think I lurked on here for 2-3 years and actually waited till I was 13 to join 😂 also I remember back then, every Jimmy Jacobs and Samoa Joe RA custom was made using a Paul London and Tommy Dreamer (with shaved beard) heads lol I believe it was in 2002, when a TTL Brock lesnar figure search led me here. I remember learning about the 10th Anniversary Raw figures that had TTL style figures and a new design that became Ruthless Aggression. Since then, I have been through many figure botches, grails, needs, wants, and some very odd conversations. I remember the boat loads of crap jeremy caught for the TTL arms on CS Taker, the R3 Bigshow in AD1, BallStraightCall, Mr.Nrrrgs awesome figure fed ( I stole the Orton/Chavo sons of Fate tag team for my own fed back in the day), The Kangol hat dude that worked at TSC that turned out to be a d bag, the okd BYW fed that had some sick matches in it from The Chad. I’m 30 now, and I have spent more than half my life on this forum. PWF!!! Man that was so excellently executed! I loved watching that myself. His animations and fix-ups to make his wrestlers look different every show was great.

My screen name on here once included the year I created it, and I think it was in 2006. I'm not sure how I originally found it, but I know I was banned for the longest time, and I don't really know why. I returned every now and then to see if the ban was lifted, and never took the opportunity to just create a new account, or maybe something prevented me from doing so. But I found the site again when I started getting real heavy into buying more figures, probably around the time the DM Ultimate Warrior from WM7 came out, so whenever that came out, I came back to the site shortly after that and found my account was active again.

It was in like 2002/2003. I found out about it through my brother. I think I was like 8 years old and we were still really obsessed with wrestling and wrestling figures. I've always been mostly a lurker and this is my only real account that I've ever actively used.

I've been here off and on pretty much since the beginning, about a month or two after Action Figure Resources shut down. TBH this is my favorite "era" of the site. I've made some pretty good friends recently on here that I'm very grateful for. But other than that the karma and Ball Straight Call Guy eras were absolute ing classics.

Whenever I watched WWE I'd sometimes see a sign in the crowd with wrestlingfigures.com on it. At the time (03/04) I'd check it out and see the new RA protos being posted on the main site, but never really bothered with the forum. Then I started to look more into that and the custom printouts board was of great interest to a friend and I, since we'd print out the shirts for our figures (yes you had to print out paper shirts back then. None of the excellent fabric ones we have today.) I only signed up when I saw the non graphics board and really wanted to get into making the micros. Almost 13 years later and I'm still kicking around.

Came across this forum about 9 years ago, was a fan of wrestling and figure animations, all of that is long behind me now but I still like to post and visit from time to time.

I somehow found AFR back in '99/'00 because I loved wrestling and I loved wrestling figures. Migrated here after AFR shut down. Stopped collecting around '04 but always stuck around.

I discovered the site through another site that shall not be named (we were like Communist sympathizers). Like screech it was just googling figure news. I had been collecting for my life at that point and the idea of online forums was still slightly new. Made a few friends, and lost a good one (R.I.P. Gore).
Despite being on the boards for 12 years or more, I only just passed 2,000 posts very recently haha.

I first discovered this site and board during the 2002 New York International Toy Fair. I was looking at some of the WWF figures that was shown there. One thing to another led me here. I had a huge void since the closure of WrestleWorld.com/AFR. I can recall that place shutting down in December 2001. Thanks to AFR, I came to know Ringside Collectibles sometime in 1998. Hard to fathom WrestlingFigs has been around six times longer than AFR.
