Masa Saito, a two-time WWF Tag Team champion in the early 1980's with Mr. Fuji, has died at the age of 76 following complications from a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Saito also wrestled in WCW/NWA, the AWA, and NJPW.

For those that aren't too familiar with Saito, his two reigns in the WWF were with Mr. Fuji. From what I read, 2000 was when he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. It's a bitch of a disease. I watched one of my grandmother's suffer through it, and have an uncle currently dealing with it, and when you see someone you care go through that, you wouldn't wish it on anyone else.

Terrible. I believe he was at Starrcade 90 as well with the Japanese team along side Great Muta. That was my first introduction to him.

I can't say I know too much about him but I was always aware Mr Fuji had a tag partner. RIP

Sad news. I always liked him. He was with Ken Patera when he got into the altercation at a fast food restaurant when Patera three the rock through their drive through window and was arrested.

I Remember him best with Fuji. Nothing tops those classic 70/80s teams that's for sure.

Sad news! RIP Masa Saito.
I remember him from his first stint in the AWA in the early 80's. I always thought he had a cool look, and had a very intimidating presence. I'll have to track down some footage of his WWF team with Mr. Fuji.

That's too bad, but probably a blessing over all with the battle he had for the past 18 years.

He & Mr. Fuji were a great tag team. They could generate so much heat! Always feuding with the Strongbows & Tony Garea & Rick Martel.
I hope when he gets to the Pearly Gates, he throws salt in St. Peter's eyes.
