I don't think they've shelved the Demon. They are saving it for moments it makes sense. If he used it every week, then it isn't special anymore. By saving it, it can be marketed as something you don't see often. Just like when he was going to use it for Bray, but kept it to face AJ. The Demon was the spotlight attraction. No need to over-saturate it and devalue it. Finn will be fine. Sure, he does need some direction, but you can tell they still value him. He's still featured often. He's just resting on the back-burner till his time comes. TBH I can't even imagine this Balor becoming the Demon. His entire character has mellowed and if he suddenly put on paint and claimed that he's a Demon it just wouldn't feel right. In NJPW and NXT he was the Demon quite a lot and it kept the whole persona relevant and something you would expect to see. Now it's been gone too long for a return to make any sense.

I think he was the Demon more times in a year and a half in NXT than 2 years on the main roster!

If he was The Demon all the time, people would complain about that too.

If he was The Demon all the time, people would complain about that too. Especially when he lost.

With how the WWE is treating him at the moment, it reminds me of how Nash, Hall and them treated guys like Benoit, Malenko and Jericho. Calling them, "Vanilla Midgets" because of their height being not the tallest.
Balor will never be Universal Champion again. Honestly, he needs to be on 205 Live. He could be the main guy of that roster and actually bring in a huge fan base to that division.

This whole "short" thing is a self-fulfilling prophecy for WWE. He's not that short, and it doesn't mean anything, but when they continuously draw attention to this and emphasize him being "small" just devalues him. Are they trying to destroy his success/marketability? This reminds me of how they made Bryan look like absolute garbage.

Its just the WWE main roster curse. Asuka is following in the same footsteps of having her character completely picked apart in the transition from NXT to the main roster.

The way Balor is being used is very disappointing I have to say. I feel he would be better off on SD!....Vince soured on him after the injury & that's seemingly it for him!!

The ever present grin is terrible That would be a good trait if he was a heel. I feel like Balor is trolling us when he smiles.

Hell no, he needs to stay away from that curse of a show.

Anybody who watches 205 Live KNOWS it’s arguably the joint best hour of wrestling in WWE with NXT. Absolute nonsense calling it a curse smh.

I will say this (again) I do wish when Finn becomes the Demon, that he'd change up his move set a bit. Like a new finisher. Or split the red or green Muta mist out on his opponents face. Nobody in WWE is currently doing that, so it'd work. And it would show why the Demon isn't your typical Finn Balor. That's one thing I always appreciated about Cody Rhodes. When he was Stardust, his move set was different.
Hell no, he needs to stay away from that curse of a show.

Man won on PPV and is constantly getting the better of a guy twice his size, and people still think he's being buried.
Do you people even know what being buried means?

It makes them look like they can’t wrestle against guys in heavier weight classes. To me the cruiserweight division and title should be a tournament they start at the Royal Rumble and finish with the final match at WrestleMania. Then whoever wins the title has bragging rights for the year or until he loses the title. Have him defend the title like any other title during the year. But there shouldn’t be a weekly show...instead all of the Cruiserweights (including the champion) should be wrestling for all the titles in the WWE and not just the Cruiserweight championship. I understand that it’s a way to showcase more wrestlers having them all on their own show. But honestly there’s nothing that the cruiserweights do that is innovative anymore the larger athletes can pull off the same moves now. Just put them on RAW or SD as tag teams or singles competitors and have the CW be a tournament once a year.

Nope. He's a cruiserweight. He belongs on 205 Finn's the same height and near the same weight as AJ Styles, why not just put AJ on 205 too, right?

Nope. He's a cruiserweight. He belongs on 205 that argument doesn't fly, especially when this company had Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Benoit, etc all World Champions at one point.
