I would like to see a first in the line subscription club. Members would pay $300 per year for one first in the line elite figure delviered to your home. $200 per year for basics. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't be completely opposed to this. I'd like it even better if they were exclusives and still full blown Elites and not anything like the Slam Crate does.

Matty Collector did this in 2012 by releasing figures once a month... it failed.

Let me get this straight you want to spend $300 a year so you can get one first in the line elite figure sent to your home? I wouldn’t do that if they sent me one figure a month let alone one figure. No thanks.

I couldn’t even bring myself to do it for the DC subscription and that is always my number one collecting love.

What about $20 per month? I only collect first in the lines. There are a lot of collectors that only collect first in the lines. Each month it would be a surprise at your house.

Nope I only collect wrestlers I like and find entertaining. And honestly there aren’t 12 modern era wrestlers left to be made that fit that criteria for me. Actually with Ciampa’s HOC figure about to hit that is the last modern First in Line Elite left for me. And while there’s a lot of Old School wrestlers left I want made there’s just as many I don’t want. So no I don’t want to spend $20 a month which by the way is nowhere near what it would cost for a limited run of Mailaway figures.
First off $20 is the price of an elite at mass retail. So it would be at least $25 a month for a limited Mailaway line. Then on top of that it would cost at least $4 more if they chose the flat rate for shipping. So now you are looking at $30 a month and that failed with the Legends on Matty Collectors because everyone here who said they would buy the figures if Mattel released them through Matty said it was too much for them once the figures hit the site.
There’s only a few of us here who bought every one released on Matty. And also while some of us US collectors would do it any non-US fan wouldn’t because the shipping rates would be even higher that is even if Mattel opened it to outside US resistances. So the support of the line wouldn’t be the numbers needed to go forward with it.
