I never felt confident about the Yankees' rotation even when the season began. The main reason I was a fan of the Clemens signing wasn't because I thought he was going to come riding in on a white horse into New York to save this team - it was because Clemens was the best possible quick-fix solution in the middle of the season that money can buy without having to shell out several top prospects for a guy like D-Train.
I've been all over Cashman the entire season because of the shitty job he did assembling this team. The rotation was setup poorly, the bench was awful...people get all over Torre for the idiot moves he makes, when Cashman should also share the blame for the crappy job he did this past offseason.

But hey, Wilson betemit hit a HR. Doesn't matter because the Yankees are still going to lose ground in the division and the wild card. So his home run was really all for nothing The whole comeback was all for nothing because the Yankees scored 8 runs in the 2nd inning and then like they always do when they have a big inning....they STOPPED SCORING, meanwhile they couldn't hold the White Sox. Besides Abreu's solo shot, the Yankees have done nothing for 6 innings. After 8 runs in one inning, you can't just go dead and stop scoring. You need to keep the pressure on while ALSO preventing the other team from scoring....the Yankees did neither today.

8 runs isn't good enough for you?

8 runs isn't good enough for you? not when you give up 13....no it's not. The only time it's enough runs is when its a bigger number than the other team.

Haha, Jermaine Dye tells ralpho you. and the irony of him talking about old outfielders is quite sweet.
