Like others have said, this set seems a bit disjointed to me. It looked like it was going to be a KOTR themed set when it was first announced, now it's just a mish mash of different characters from different time periods. The HBK BAF doesn't fit at all, I wonder why the chose this and why they decided to scrap the Build a sets?!

Don't forget good ol Cap'n Lou! I was talking more late 80s/early 90s managers, Captain Lou was really a 70s thru mid 80s manager (I think he was done by 1986). But, I wouldn't be opposed to a Captain Lou figure. Well, he did come back for one last run with the Headshrinkers and Afa in... 94 was it? But by then he was almost unrecognizable :/ I want him to go along with my Rock n' Wrestling guys If they ever do release that Wendi, him, Fuji and Moolah (never gonna happen I know) are the only missing ones. I'd love to display him next to the Bulldogs and/or Muraco, but yeah... this year was a let down there again.

I’ve got to be honest, I didn’t know that, either. Yes, Revelation was what he called his snake during his 1996/97 run, they were doing a whole religious type character for Jake (they did an interview of him seeking redemption for the bad things he had done in the past, drugs and alcohol mainly, saying that he had found religion) which is where they got the name for the snake. Instead of coming to the ring with a traditional python (like Damien and Lucifer) he came to the ring with a giant yellow Albino Burmese Python (pics below), the yellow python is Revelation. Also, the vest he is wearing is the vest they are talking about that comes with the figure. Makes sense. I was watching hogan over on wcw back then. I did go back on the network and rewatch all the wwf I missed and I seem to remember that jake gimmick a little now that you mention it. I remember when I first saw the austin 3:16 speech and thought that was so cool. Even though that was the beginning, I missed it and didn’t even know about it until many many years later.

That's true, I forgot that he was with the Headshrinkers - though it was a short run in 1994. If they do Rock n' Wrestling managers, don't forget Classie Freddie Blassie.

Only saw them a few times in my area and they went fast, can't find any of the figures in my area sitting on shelves now. Also, these sets seemed to be of interest to others, heard people say they would like for them to continue, they could do a pipers pit set, brother love set, funeral parlor set, king's court set, king of the ring set, etc.

Commissioner Michaels fits, Steamboat does not.
Harley Race: KOTR 86 Jake: KOTR 96 Austin: KOTR 96 HBK: KOTR 99 Steamboat: “oh sure just throw in WM3 who cares?”
Idk if HBK is in what he wore at KOTR 99 but he was all over that show

Though, if they would have made the set Jake and Austin from KOTR 96, Harley from KOTR 86, and Michaels from KOTR 99, then have the KOTR set come with it instead of build-a-figure it would have made more sense - and they could have released the Steamboat in another line like HOC or another build-a-set wave.

Jake royal rumble or king of the ring 96, is the same clothings. Im happy for dragon wm3 fig but he doesnt belongs with the rest. I prefer king mabel, and maybe a sir Mo as the Baf figure

Shooooot, with a light cloth jacket and very little deco, this Steamboat figure could’ve been placed in any elite set and would’ve been easier to obtain. I’d be toooootally cool with WMIII Ricky Steamboat moving to E62 or whatever.

Who cares if steamboat fits or not, does it matter? You flashback collectors always have something to complain about

Can’t wait for this set. King Harley Race is such a great figure. He’s been in my top 10 awhile now. Jake the Snake looks great, I’m still hoping for an 86-87 Jake but this look was pretty popular too. We’ve all been waiting for WM 3 Steamboat for along time, happy he’s in the line up. Stone Cold, not interested in this Austin, thought I was gonna have to bite the bullet and buy him for the BAF but when I found out HBK commish was the BAF now I can pass on it.

Do you have nothing better to do with your time?! This is a discussion forum, people are free to discuss (and complain) about whatever they want as long as no rules are broken. For your enjoyment, here is another complaint: I agree with randyrock, WM3 Steamboat is a bland figure as far as deco and acessories goes, it should have been inserted into the main elite line so that EVERYONE would have the opportunity to buy it instead of putting it in one of the stupid store exclusive lines which are available only to Americans. do you have nothing better to do than reply to p pole on WFigs with paragraphs ?

So we are confirmed that the set will include Steamboat? If the Michaels BAF looks good then I am all in for this set. Don't care if Steamboat doesn't fit in as it is a must have figure either way.

These are EXACT sentiments. I’ll probably bite the bullet and get Austin to complete the set but I don’t feel as though I have to. Steamboat, Race and Roberts...this is good stuff for me.

Question - assuming the Heartbreak Hotel BAF art is considered series 2 of the Walmart Flashback Elite set, is Harley/Jake/Austin/Steamboat series 3?
