Lol. Wasn’t HHH and HBK’s goal to imitate Ric Flair’s career? Whats wrong with wanting to mirror HBK’s? GTFO with that, Ziggler could have left and made great money in Japan. He puts on quality matches and is a solid performer. I may be buying into the dirt sheets too much here. If Japan was really an option for Ziggler he could have left. I think he’s happy showing up an collecting a paycheck. Exactly. I think he made peace with the fact that he's never going to be 'the guy' a long time ago. Now he gets paid [presumably] VERY well to just be a WWE Superstar. There are worse fates in life.

I know that's right. Not to mention he's decently accomplished. 2x World Champ, 2x US Champ, 6x IC Champ, MITB winner and a former Tag Champ even if it was with the Spirit Squad lol

Ziggler was never going to be the guy, and there's nothing wrong with that. Not everybody is destined to hold the top spot. That’s a good point. A combination of WWE getting super lazy with the midcard over the last 15 years and us living in the Era of Entitlement means we complain whenever someone isn’t world champion all the time, but not everyone should get to be world champion anyway. Mr Perfect wasn’t. Roddy Piper wasn’t. They were still superstars. Hopefully, with the momentum that Miz and Rollins gave the IC title, we don’t have to cry that everyone needs the world title - hopefully the midcard will stay meaningful as we go forward. Dolph Ziggler has that ball to run with now. These are some fair points.... Piper should have had a World title run though.

But instead continue to shove Del Rio down our throats. How did that work out? Maybe Ziggler wasn’t main event material but what would it have hurt to ride that momentum to see if he could take that next step. It was a better option than ADR who had proven time and again that he wasn’t getting over as a top draw.

These are some fair points.... Piper should have had a World title run though. When? Also a fair point. Had he not had time off for a year or two here and there I think an opportunity would have occurred. Coulda had a good program with Macho when he was champ. Coulda worked well with a short run during Bret’s time... not certain in years, but I think he was largely out of the WWF during a bunch of those two guys runs... Would honestly have to look at years he was off and years of those guys reigns to confirm. I am not saying he needed it, or that they screwed him by not giving him a run by any means. Just that he was good enough to have deserved a run, even if it was a month or two. Would have worked one hell of a program during Flair’s time as champ and coulda been the face to boot.

Ziggler is highly underrated. Him and Miz are two guys who could be big stars on the indies.

Dolph Ziggler is one of, if not -the- most fun to watch wrestlers in WWE. He is an incredible heel, and his recent work with Drew Mcintyre has been stellar. His feud with Seth Rollins has been FIRE. I think as he has grown up, and started to mature in his career he is bound for HUGE things.

Ziggler is highly underrated. Him and Miz are two guys who could be big stars on the indies. Why would Miz go to the indies though? He’s a top guy in WWE. Miz is the type of guy that will have a job in WWE as long as he wants one, even well after he retires.

Down to the "I lost my smile" moment. "You don't deserve me." *drops title and walks out*

They're idiots. He was over, and he was great in the ring back when he cashed in. Could have been big. But they poorly booked him
Just like they ruined Wyatt....
Just like they ruined Balor.....
Just like they'll ruin Elias....
They are idiots; and they don't know how to book, write, or build anymore. Product is in the crapter and will remain. Tonedeaf company at this point
