If I’m judging your collection, I’m looking for Golden Era and Attitude Era. I’ll never tell you your display is bad but if it has a healthy display of characters from 85-99, you are going to get a “randyrock likes this” and a strong, positive comment. Yes you will. And don't forget that Shamrock figure! 😁

I look at it like this. I'm a wrestling fan of all eras. If you can look at your collection and get lost staring at it with a smile on your face for hours, you my friend have a good collection. After all its a hobby and supposed to make you happy.

If you can look at your collection and not say “I wish I had...” and/or “why did I buy...” then it’s a good collection.

Do you, the owner, like it? : Yes = Good Collection. No = Not Good Collection. That is all.

Having exactly what you like only.. Not what the market (price, rarity) dictates you should have.

Having what you like and having the space to store it. Whether a figure is cheap or expensive shouldnt matter.

I think it's more impressive depending on how it's organized, by faction, era, or star power. I'd like to see one divided by color. What I wanna do is make a custom bookcase for each era with the appropriate ASR on top, I'm too lazy to build it though, also I don't have any power tools atm.

I enjoy my collection because its all the figures I wanted to buy. I don't buy everything and everyone. Just the ones I like or look really awesome. Legends, current roster, NXT, women, people in suits, etc.

It's all down to that person, that's what makes us so different from other groups of collectors. So many of us collect for hundreds of different reasons, some people only collect figures of one superstar, some collect from different era's, some only collect woman figures, some only collect basics or elites. That is why I love this community, it's never the same.
I collect all those superstars that I don't have. That's my number rule when collecting, so if they are first time in the line I'm pretty much in and will buy. That said, I also like to buy the moments that changed my life. the moments that WWE have given us that I will never forget as a kid. For example I have 2 Ultimate Warrior figures, his first DM because I didn't have a Mattel warrior but then I got the Wrestlemania 6 warrior because I remember staying late with my dad watching it LIVE and never forgetting that moment. Hope that makes sense. But generally if I don't have them in my collection I will get them so at least I have 1 figure of everyone at some point.

When you collect for your personal enjoyment and NOT with resale in mind- THAT is the mark of a good collection IMHO.

For me it’s a combination of the stars you like, put in their respective era with some customs and fixups. I think what makes a collection unique is how you display them and the level of detail on fixups. I love seeing people’s fixups when they post their collections here.

Exactly. Also never collect to impress someone else. It never goes well.
