Event wise, probably my two favorite pieces of The Brain's work, were WrestleMania 8 and SummerSlam 1990. I loved at WrestleMania 8, when Piper and Hart were wrestling for the IC belt, and in the span of about a minute, Heenan goes from hating Piper, to loving him, when it seemed he was going to use the ring bell, to hating him again when he threw it down. "You know the old saying, what the hell, use the bell!" Or when he was calling Reba McEntire, Tito Santana's sister, calling her Arriba McEntire. And at SummerSlam, especially during the IC Title match with Hart and Perfect, when he kept going after Stu and Helen, like when Gorilla said they were looking nervous, "of course they're nervous, they snuck in here." As many that knew him said, he was better then a lot of comics, he just had that comedic timing, and could play off anyone. Of course the sad thing to realize too, if you took Bobby Heenan, and planted him in 2018, he would get crucified for the stuff he would say. He'd never have been able to have delivered his gold, in today's world, so thank God, his run, was when it was.

What match was it (possibly a Shawn Michaels match) that Heenan was asking if the girlfriend of the wrestler with the back injury would be singing that famous song - my boyfriends back?? My memory is terrible these days I do remember him saying this but for the life of me can't remember what show it was on. My guess would be an old CHV or even a WCW event.

Agree he was on fire at both shows -marked out big time when introduced luger at mania 8 too as didn't realise he'd left wcw. Just think that one show had Hogan, sid, warrior, macho, flair, lod, Jake, Bret, piper, Michaels, taker and luger all appearing on it in one way or other. Hell of time to be watching!

Yeah, damn it, I don't know why I put 90 for SummerSlam. And probably his last great piece of entertainment, would have to be when he went into the WWE Hall of Fame. That whole speech was great, and you could tell how honored he was, and how much fun he was having, just telling stories and jokes. And also, two of my favorite moments of his, are also not entertaining, exactly, but emotional. When he gave his good bye to Gorilla on Nitro, and at the end of his HOF speech when he said the only thing missing was Gorilla. I like those two so much, because he showed another side of him, and just showed the friendship the two really had.

The chemistry between those two will never be matched again.

Bobby sure went out with a bang during the last WWF PPV he ever called... SSeries 1993 This is one of the first PPVs I ever saw as a kid. I rented it like a hundred times from my video store. Agreed, he was on a roll that night. "It's very easy to beat the 1-2-3 Kid. All you gotta do is put out a few Oreo cookies and a glass of milk. When he goes for them, you put the boots to 'em." "This is a first! This is the first time the Kid has been up past 8 o'clock." "What a stupid name. You got nine months and you come up with Bruce?" 😂

The two greatest performers to ever enter the world of wrestling. On a side note a visitor to my work today had the last name Heenan. Was so tempted to ask if she was related ha ha

Highlights from one of the Bret/Perfect matches
Gorilla/Vince: "A concerned look on the faces of Stu and Helen Hart."
Brain: "You know why they're concerned? They snuck in."
Gorilla/Vince: "What about Perfect? Don't you think Perfect could lose it all?"
Brain: "Yeah but I want him to."

Gorilla/Vince: "What about Perfect? Don't you think Perfect could lose it all?" Brain: "Yeah but I want him to." 1st one is definitely a SSlam 91 quote. 2nd one I believe is KOTR 93. Might actually be SSeries 92 though I forget.

I remember marking out when these two were in the ring together on Raw during the Summer of 93. My favorite managers of all time.
