I am enjoying the Mae Young Classic this year way more than last years.

I'm thoroughly annoyed that Xia Brookside is already out.

I'm thoroughly annoyed that Xia Brookside is already out. She’s apparently signed, so you’ll be seeing a lot more of her in the future.

Zuexies had a much better match with Io then she did with Ariel Monroe. Deonna/Li was good too.

The tournament has been great so far. 2 tough matchups to decide the Finals. I've always been in love with Toni Storm..

Fantastic night of matches. I suspect the finals will steal the show at Evolution.

Now that I can speak freely without mentioning spoilers. The rest of the roster better put on their A-Game, 'cause their going to be outshined by Toni Storm and Io Shirai.
Both semi-final matches are a bonafide must watch. Overall, 2018 > 2017

The only problem I have with the finals is it’s like last year, one of the finalists has been touted by WWE as its newest signee, Io Shirai. If she wins, like last year’s signee Kairi Sane did, does this tournament really matter if the winner is just whoever WWE signed? Same for the winner of the CWC. Only the UK tournament seemed to be a true toss up, unless WWE mentioned either Dunn or Bate being signed, which doesn’t seemed to be the case since they stayed busy with other companies since then.

You do realize you are incorrect to some degree. The WWE was hoping both Kota Ibushi and Zack Sabre, Jr. would sign. The two being on separate brackets would indicate this. Since they didn't sign, the finals ended up being TJP and Gran Metalik. There was serious buzz last year when the WWE signed Kairi Sane and had her win the Mae Young Classic last year. There is a reason why the WWE too, also wanted Io Shirai for last years MYC. The finals of this years MYC is a natural fit. You have two of the best performers in the world. As for the UK Tournament, from what I understand, Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne signed during the tournament.

I'm not talking about anything any dirt sheet claimed, I'm talking about what WWE has told us. And last year before the MYC started, they talked a lot about signing Kairi Sane, and they haven't told us a lot about Io Shirai, but they have told us they have signed her, again, before the MYC started this year, and the announcers have talked a lot about it during this season. All I'm saying is, if the winner is again someone WWE has already talked about signing, in my opinion, it de-values the "tournament." If it wasn't a tournament and it was just random matches showcasing female talent from around the world, then I wouldn't care. But they make it seem like it's about crowning the best female talent in the world, but last year it was someone they already signed, and I'd bet it'll be the same situation again this year.

While I’d say Toni Storm last 2 matches have been the 2 of the top 3-4 in tournament, had the two opponents she beat faced I think the match would of been even better.
Yeah Toni Storm is attractive but in ring is just mostly dull to me. Not bad but nothing special. Feel like Meiko & Mia carried those matches with her.
Maybe I just haven’t seen enough Storm yet.

It's a pre determined event. We have to assume wwe gains the most from having their signee win. It's not complicated and shouldn't devalue something you already knew was pre determined.

I'm aware it's pre-determined, and I'm not disagreeing having the person they've signed be the winner, I get all that. I'm just saying, don't make that public until AFTER the winner has won. It's almost like a spoiler, and it's not even like I read that on a dirt sheet, it was on their public website and the commentators talked about it many times during all of her matches in this tournament. It's just a situation where when they talk about something to death, you start to lose the idea that "anyone" could win, but it's really who they're talking about the most. I'm just saying, they could cut back on that some.

It would hard to keep it from leaking, so they kind of just wanna give you the info themselves I'd think. And the last part, lol, that's what they do best is talk about the same thing 1000 times a night.

Meiko vs Toni Storm, the Match of the Tournament. Incredible match. Ripley vs Shirai was great as well. Im liking Rhea Ripley even more.

Watch Stardom or wXw. Toni is legitimately one of the top three female wrestlers in the entire world.
