I had this conversation with my friend last night and we were deciding who truly is the mount rushmore of professional wrestling when taking everything into account.
In my opinion it is without a doubt
Hulk Hogan John Cena Steve Austin The Rock
Curious to see your guys opinions!

In terms of in-ring talent? Flair, HBK, Angle, Eddie.
In terms of drawing power? You pretty much hit the nail on the head.

In a definitive, mass appeal sense? Yeah, it's an uphill climb of a conversation trying to sub any one of those, really.
On a more personal level? Everyone's would look different.

Shawn Michaels - The greatest in ring performer of all time
Stone Cold Steve Austin - The biggest star at the peak of wrestling history
Hulk Hogan - His name is synonymous with pro wrestling
The Undertaker - The greatest gimmick of all time
I prefer Flair to Hogan and Rock to Austin but they were both 1b. I wouldn't put Vince on there at all. Vince gets the Lincoln Memorial treatment someplace else.

I don't know who exactly I'd have as the four, but two that would have to be considered, that haven't been mentioned yet, would have to be Gorgeous George and Bruno Sammartino. George was a big part of wrestling's success in the early days of TV, and the man had influence outside of wrestling, with Muhammad Ali, James Brown and Bob Dylan all talking about how they took from him. He's really the father of the showmanship of pro wrestling. And Bruno, without him, and his run on top for Vince Sr. there would have likely been no platform for Vince to showcase Hogan and have his huge run in the 80s. Andre the Giant would also have to be considered for a wrestling Mount Rushmore.

In NWA Territory days- Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, Jack Brisco, Dory Funk Jr, Terry Funk. Post NWA- Hulk Hogan because he helped kill the territories in a big way.

It’s hard to narrow down to 4 but I think you’d have to go with:
Andre Hogan Flair Austin*
*Maybe Bruno instead of Stone Cold

It’s 💯Austin Rock Hogan and Cena weather we like it or not. Maybe Undertaker as a bonus fith , they are really the only house hold names in wrestling.

Ok for mine, and I'm going for wrestling in general, with the actual impact they had, not just if they were known names.
1. Gorgeous George - Like I mentioned earlier, he was THE start, when wrestling started on TV. He was the father of what wrestling characters are, the bigger then life personality. He's influenced wrestling, and pop culture as well, with his inspiring icons like Ali, Brown and Dylan.
2. Bruno Sammartino - he really was the man, that made the northeast territory under Vince McMahon Sr. into what it was. He was the hero to everyone, and his countless sell outs of Madison Square Garden speaks to the impact he had.
3. Vince McMahon - plain and simple, without Vince, wrestling would not have become what he is, as a global force. He had the vision to take the risk to go globally and dared to go against the territorial system.
4. Hulk Hogan - No matter how bad his reputation has taken a hit over the years, between his creative control abuse, and the recent problems, there is no denying, without Hogan, Vince couldn't have made his global expansion without him, and the big boom of the 80s wouldn't have likely happened.
Now if you just say what wrestlers, then I would take out Vince and replace him with Austin. Like with Hogan in the 80s, I don't see the WWF in the 90s being able to make the turn around, and help push that second big boom.
