That is such an awesome picture! Your title is so appropriate, so sad the time period is long gone.

Rip Anvil
Btw I’m loving those drapes and carpet! Seriously, I have two vintage couches that are about that same color!

Sweet pic! What a lucky kid. Oh, how I wish I could have found the Harts when I was that age! They (and some others) were unicorns to me: only seen in print and never in real life.
I had every other tag team, but they were by far my favorites (along with Demolition, but we all know how that went in respect to LJNs. I never even found Ax until after my childhood, either).

Sad to keep hearing about these guys. BTW, us Hasbro kids also feel your pain of not having the Hart Foundation as a tag team set. Biggest team omitted by Hasbro by far.

I was as much a Hasbro kid as LJN, so I'm with you there too Worse yet, Bret was a long-standing favorite of mine and I never saw any of his Hasbros in stores! Drove me crazy. I just figured everyone, like me, loved him, so he sold out immediately

I hear ya, how the Bushwhackers got 2 sets and the Hart Foundation didn't even get one is kind of sad. Though, Hasbro was set to release them in 1991/92 but the team broke up.

Yeah, I mean I guess the WWF ultimatly decided who was or wasn't released. But Hell, I say they should have still put them out even though they broke up. Would have sold tons of them, way better than shipping out more Rockers and Bushwackers. Even maybe with the 91' teams, can't believe the teams they chose and left out the Harts. And, man, the Bushwackers lol. I think Series 10 could have done so much better had they not done them, and just did, Fatu, Samu, Gonzalez, Marty, Razor (purple), and Shawn (black). I would imagine in 94' there were still original Bushwacker 2-packs on pegs in some stores.

Sweet picture ! When i was young every new ljns figure was a big moment. I remembered an old cold day of fall, getting harley race and hulk version 2 on a saturday, and creating one of the best card ever, with these two in the main event.
