Still regret not nabbing loose Flash Rey, Ryder with Internet title, nWo Macho during that time.
I didn’t put 2 + 2 together about Hurricane Sandy until I found little grits of sand on the loose R-Truth I bought from RSC on Amazon.

I live on Long Island, and while it seemed to have been a great time for collectors, it certainly was a horrible time for us. Looking at these posts I'm so mad I was out of the game at that point though lol

I didn't know about the flood damage, by I did buy a crap ton of loose figures, including SDCC undertaker DM Bret Hart, RSC Bret, 2-3 mysterios, 2-3 John cenas and RSC macho king!
I was hoping they would put up cheap loose figs again, but not if it means another flood!!

This is actually really cool to look back on this unfortunate event and find some good out of it!
I wish I bought from RSC during this time because i think that it would be a really cool backstory for a figure! I would have loved to gotten a fig that smelled like the ocean or had some grains of sand rattling around!

Hmm, this must've been why the DM Bret I got (with jacket only) was around $10.

I got a couple of cheap nWo Macho Man figures, but lost thousands of dollars worth of figures in the flood here in West Virginia so it all evened out (two MOC 12 Kanes, 2 each MOC of Legends Texas Tornado, Kerry and Kevin Von Erich, Rick Martel, and several others)

I remember buying a loose RSC Exclusive Kane and yeah it stunk pretty bad. I put it in a zip lock bag with dryer sheets and that really helped. I also recall getting a MOC mail away Vince McMahon but I can’t remember if it was during this sale or not.

This was awesome! Good times for sure. I got the ringside Austin, ringside 2002/2003 Kane, and SDCC Taker for like 20 a piece..all complete. I remember the sand too lol. I missed the SES Punk every time it popped up.

This happened at the perfect time for me as it was when I had just started collecting again. The ones I somewhat remember that I bought were SDCC Undertaker for approx $17, RSC all pink Hitman Approx $17, Rockers 2 pack $7. I know I bought a few more but can’t remember at the moment. I do regret not getting RSC SES CM Punk & RSC Macho for less than $20. I kept thinking “next time” but when I was finally ready to pull the trigger they were gone. I had multiple opportunities for them.

I passed on loose rockers for $5 for both That’s my largest regret since I began buying figures. There was a ton of loose figures at that time. I had just started collecting so I didn’t realize it was because of flood damage. I thought it was common for rsc to have loose figures and I thought they were used so I didn’t want any of them. Me too!

I picked up NWO Savage for $11.99, Macho King Exclusive for $9.99 and the Rockers for $5! Picked up all of these for that price too. It was when I first started collecting and I had no idea why they were that cheap. Got the pink Bret Hart and Akeem as well. I should have got more.
