I was wondering if anyone else would like to see double jointed elbows? I’m a huge fan of articulation I think it gives more of a realistic feel and would give that little extra go in the elites !! Even if they could do like jakks ufc with the butterfly joints or like marvel legends, now don’t get me wrong I love how far these figures have come and all the new technology they are using is awesome I just wonder how much more tooling would be involved and how much it would jump cost of elites to have? Maybe like a special run of hyper articulated figures ? Thoughts??

I hate the butterfly joints as well as finger and toe joints on figures. Despise them. Double elbows never look right on ML or DC figures when the arms are bent, but maybe the elbow pads would hide that on a wrestling figure.

I'd be the happiest wwe collector of just Mattel decided to implement the former woman body with double knee joints ( do you remember Elite Paige prototype?). I love double elbows too but I find somewhat great the choice to give future Elites swappable hands.

For a toy line about wrestlers, maximum flexibility is a must, and can be hidden by flexible pads. Double elbows and angled swivel ankles would be great. Extra hands for expressive and grappling poses.
Generic marvel legends are cheap, but unfortunately they dont have any arms I'm happy with using on WWE figs.

I think that's probably what the Ultimates are, if they were just regular elites with more accessories, they'd probably have unveiled them already. Something like figuarts lite.

If we ever get butterfly joints I'll quit collecting, those things kill it for me.

Yeah, I do NOT like butterfly joints. Ugh.
Double jointed elbows could work. But as I have said before, this far into the line, I'm not sure I'd want them to change now.

That was asked either last year or two years ago and the response was that the budget wasnt big enough. At the time I think Bill said that he was fighting to keep double knees. But then at SDCC'18, they announce multiple heads and every figure in 2019 is going to have 2 sets of hands soooo...

Butterfly joints are always loose as hell on my marvel legends, so I’d pass on those. But double jointed elbows I would gladly take.

Asking for a friend. Tell your ”FRIEND” they are those wing joints on certain ML shoulders that make it so the arm can come together closer in the front or back. They work well for Spider-Man because his web design on his costume hides it, but most of the time they are eyesores.

No. They have enough joints as it is. The last thing I need is more joints on my figures. All they do is make it more difficult to play with.

I like the lateral pivots, but only when they look good, which is...almost never lol. I've found that you can recreate some of their benefit by simply carving away at the edges of the pecs. This lets the arms, specifically the bicept piece, move across the chest a little more since now there's less pecs plastic there to stop it. So you can get more natural poses for holding a rifle, performing holds, etc.
I did it to a Batista/Reigns chest recently and got like 10 more degrees of movement just for shaving away a few millimeters.

OMG call 911! Daredevil dislocated both of his shoulders and needs immediate medical attention. Let this be a lesson! That’s what happens when you jump off a building rooftop and try to grab the fire escape 3+ stories down!
