WWF Prime Time Wrestling November 26, 1990Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby HeenanWe open with audio and pictures (via WWF Magazine) of the main event of the Survivor Series and Warrior’s attack on Hogan before we cut back to the studio with a very somber Gorilla Monsoon and a confused Bobby Heenan. Monsoon: Folks, I’ve seen many things in my career. Both as a wrestler and as a commentator, but never I have I seen something like that. The Ultimate Warrior has betrayed Hulk Hogan and the WWF. Heenan: I-I didn’t set this up, the only thing I did was bring The Undertaker! B-but what a great moment! Monsoon: You disgust me. Heenan: H-Hey! The fans demand to see it again that we’re airing a repeat airing of the ppv! Monsoon: You’ll never change will you? Heenan: What? Matches: Macho King Randy Savage (w/ Queen Sherri) def. Dale Wolfe Dustin Rhodes (w/ Dusty Rhodes) def. The Genius The Warlord def. Tito Santana Ultimate Warrior promo
Warrior: The Gods, they demanded a sacrifice, and so I did. I sacrificed Ho-Kogan, I sacrificed the second best Warrior the WWF have ever seen..The Gods demanded it, and I serve only them. Hulkamania has no power, mortals have no power over the Gods!! Hulkamania is dead! And the Gods ordered me too.. The Undertaker was too powerful, I needed the power so I asked the Gods and here we are. Ho-Kogan, if I could your misery would end but Jack Tunney has decided you will wait! I’m due to face off against Macho “King” Savage, I will not bow to a fake king, The Warrior only bows to the GODS!!! Monsoon: What a nut. Heenan: You’re only now realizing that? Haku def. Gary Jackson The Undertaker (w/ Bobby Heenan) def. Pez Whatley Shane Douglas def. The Brooklyn Brawler Hulk Hogan promo Hogan: I can’t believe it man! The Warrior was on our side, now he’s betrayed us!! Oh I should’ve seen this comin’ man, I really should’ve. Hulkamania was getting too powerful and the Warrior was starting to get jealous. Why does this always happen? First Orndorff, then it was Andre, then Macho Man, and now the Warrior? (Puts hands on head) Oh common, common man!

WWF Prime Time WrestlingDecember 3, 1990Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan The WWF is still reeling from the Warrior’s heel turn at the Survivor Series and the ppv gets a re-showing on ppv, after some matches we cut to the studio before we go to a promo from a very angry Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan promo on The Warrior and the Royal Rumble
Hogan: You know somethin’ brothers, I’m getting sick and tired of the superstars of the WWF. I know some are good people but, man every time I befriend someone it always comes back to bite me. So you know what Hulkamaniacs, from now on we’re on our own! As for Warrior, oh believe me he’ll get his.. Because next year’s Royal Rumble is comin’ up and brothers, I’m going to win it again! Mark my words Hulkamanics, Hulkamania will run wild in 1991 and what’s the WWF gonna do when Hulkamania is on top again?! Monsoon: Wow, can you believe that? The Hulkster has told us that Hulkamania is on it’s own! I-I can’t believe it! Heenan: (visibly nervous) O-oh boy. Hope the Warrior is prepared for Hogan, because I think we’re seeing a new Hulk Hogan! After some more matches we cut to a promo by the Ultimate Warrior Ultimate Warrior promoWarrior:Ho-Kogan, you whine about WWF Superstars betraying you. It is only your fault, you think you’re better than everyone but there’s only one man who fits that description, (lifts belt) The Ultimate Warrior!! I am not just the Ultimate Warrior but I’m the Ultimate Champion!!! I know you will win the Rumble, the gods have foreseen it, they also foreseen me beating Macho King, but that is already a given. But maybe the Gods are wrong, Ho-Kogan maybe you will lose. Because their power is too powerful for mere mortals and not for The Ultimate Warrior!!! Heenan: See? How have you never seen something like that from that lunatic? Monsoon: If we’re going to talk about things never seen before- Heenan: Ah The Undertaker, well let’s just say he’s the one who finally get me my first WWF Champion. Monsoon: Oh boy, here we go again..

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter December 3rd, 1990
New Attitude for the WWF?
With the shocking heel turn of The Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan calming that he and the Hulkamaniacs “are on their own”, it seems we’re entering a new era for the World Wrestling Federation as the company seems to being moving out of the cartoony and (possibly) family friendly phase of the 1980’s.
Sgt. Slaughter has returned to the company after a run in the AWA since 1985 and has also turned heel claiming that Americans have become weak since they’re cheering a “commie” (meaning Volkoff) and not fighting the good fight (cold war is a good fight?).
We saw the debut of a new wrestler named “The Undertaker” at the Survivor Series, he got a pretty great reaction from the fans. They made him look good only having him be counted out and not being pinned by Hogan or Warrior, rumor has it that Andre The Giant might be looking to work with him (even if the Giant can no longer work like he used to).

WWF Prime Time Wrestling January 7, 1991 (New Years special) Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan
Monsoon: Welcome everyone and happy new year! Tonight is the first Prime Time Wrestling of 1991 and what a year last year was! Heenan: Yeah, you can say that again. Monsoon: We saw the Ultimate Challenge at Wrestlemania VI, we saw Mr. Perfect’s undefeated streak end at the hands of Hulk Hogan, we saw the debut of The Undertaker, and we saw the unthinkable. The Ultimate Warrior betrayed Hulk Hogan and attacked him after their Survivor Series match! Heenan: I heard Hogan’s New Years resolution was to never trust anyone again! (Laughs) Monsoon: Will you be serious? Heenan: Alright, 1990 was a mixed bag for me. Andre The Giant slapped the man who made him a champion in the WWF! Mr Perfect’s streak is dead, but as you mentioned at the Survivor Series I debuted The Undertaker! Monsoon: I got to give credit where it’s due, that was a spectacular surprise. Heenan: Finally! You know how long I’ve waited to hear you say something like that! The show shows some clips from last year including matches. It also shows the debut of The Undertaker and his matches which Heenan gloats over before we go to Mean Gene with a Royal Rumble report. Mean Gene’s Royal Rumble report:
Mean Gene: The Royal Rumble is a week away! And do we have some important updates for you here tonight, the WWF Champion the Ultimate Warrior will take on Macho King Randy Savage for the gold! Only if Andre had that surgery, Andre vs. Taker would've been epic! What would that surgery have done again? It's the same the Big Show had for the pituitary gland which halted his growth, Andre refused to do it because he believed it would've ruined his wrestling career and because of that he just kept growing and growing and that was it. Big Show can still wrestle, and is healthy. The idea here is that Andre would've been the same and possibly alive today if he had gone through with it.

Hogan: This is it brothers, this is the final showdown! We’ve waited since last year’s Wrestlemania to get the WWF Title back around our waists but now it’s finally here. Warrior, be ready! Cause Hulkamania is about to go wild, and brother whatcha going to do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?! Warrior: Ho-Kogan, the end is near for Hulkamania....The gods have ordered me to sacrifice another, and all of the Hulkamaniacs will be the next sacrifice!!!! WWF Undisputed Championship match: The Ultimate Warrior (c) vs. Hulk Hogan The Warrior makes his way out and almost the entire building is booing him, he does the usual Warrior stuff before a familiar theme starts playing. No not Real American but Eye of The Tiger, Hogan makes his way out with dark red Hulkamania shirt and instead of yellow trunks he’s wearing black trunks. Bobby and Gorilla are understandably surprised at Hogan’s new look but not the crowd, they cheer him like they always have. He enters and rips the shirt off and flings his USA themed bandana at Warrior who doesn’t react. The match begins and immediately Hogan punches Warrior, Hogan is way more brutal in this match and overpowers the Warrior til he hits a low blow on Hogan when the ref can’t see it. Warrior takes the advantage and slams Hogan into the turnbuckle and eventually busts Hogan open! He hits the Gorilla Press and is about to do the splash when Hogan moves out of the way and The Warrior nearly hits the mat, the champ grabs the challenger by the hair and tosses him to the outside! He follows suit and bashes Hogan into the ring post, he then throws him into the steel steps! Warrior finally tosses Hogan back in the ring, he hits the press and splashes him. But Hogan kicks out at 2! He starts Hulking up, Warrior hits him but Hogan doesn’t feel it! Warrior hits a shoulder tackle but Hogan pops back up! The Hulkster finally has enough and goes for not three but a series of punches and wipes him into the corner and does the 10 punch and busts Warrior open! He throws the champ into the ropes and hits an Axe Bomber on him (Hulk’s finishing move in Japan) before dropping the leg for the three and finally getting vengeance on The Warrior. Winner and NEW Undisputed WWF Champion: Hulk HoganHogan grabs the belts and holds them up high for the crowd to see, he puts on the WWF Championship and holds the IC belt in one hand as Earl raises the other. The show ends with Hogan posing with both belts and the bloodied Warrior crawling out of the ring and shouting at the heavens, “WHY?!”
