Looks just good enough to pay a certain amount of money in the distant future, but not an immediate must-have. Mattel taking a real optimistic view of people's desire to get any Goldberg in their collection...
Headscan looks good to me though.

The knee pads are accurate. The gear is accurate. The elbow pads are accurate. The gloves are accurate. The head scan looks spot on. The chest hair is there. The tattoo is there. |

My first wrestling figure ever was RA4 Goldberg.
Now I can get the Mattel equivalent. Total buy.
I did end up getting the Goldberg that came with the ring for $27.
With that said, if I hadn't gotten that I would be way more excited for this.

Meh. Here’s what could of been imo. New headscan, that headscan in particular looks like a gorilla from the side, NEW UNIQUE body mold to represent Goldberg’s physique, needs tan skin, would of liked the open elbow pads and kneepads and at the very least Mattel could of glossed his boots which is minimal detail.. I’m only getting this because I don’t have a Goldberg and want a fb. Other than that, it could of been released as an elite.

-Mattel rep at Toy Fair last year. I guess they kept the cast and technically changed the shorts...
Look, I'm glad we're getting a WCW Goldberg from Mattel, but after all this time of patiently waiting, they just repurposed the old man Goldberg head with elongated beard and used a stock Elite body for him. Does it work? Absolutely, it's fine. It's not bad. It's a totally serviceable depiction of Goldberg, but nothing beyond that. At $30, I expected more, but that's EG for ya.

The only difference between Oldman Goldberg and YoungBerg in real life is that white hair.
I like it but that side head picture does look a little off.
