Any age is good if they are willing to watch. I started watching at a very young age and that was most of the fun. Seeing all the guys at a young age and the whole wow he got beat up was awesome.
I was about 2 when I started watching. I introduce my little cousins to it when I can get them to pay attention. They’re 8 and 6. The 8 year old likes Mankind vs Undertaker at King of the Ring 98. The 6 year old likes Balor vs Owens at the first NXT Brooklyn.
Another one of my cousins watches with his 6 month old daughter and he gets her to try to say “Wooo”!
AJ Lee told me I was adorable. No need for me to say anything else.
I can't remember a time in my life where I didn't watch wrestling. My dad tells a story about me sitting on his knee, only a few months old watching him play WWF WarZone on PS1 and being absolutely captivated by it.
I started when I was about 12. As for nowadays? I think if the kid is able to comprehend what's going on then it's all good. My daughter is 11 and she never got into it. Not even when I do my indy shows. She couldn't care less.

I was 5 years old when i started watching, March of 2000. The night Mick Foley was brought in by Linda McMahon to make the Wrestlemania 2000 main event a 4 way. However, i do remember home videos of me as a baby with my older brother and cousin watching WCW.
I personally started to watch wrestling when I was 12. How old do you think kids should be to watch wrestling. Or how old where your kids when you introduced them to it?
That depends on both the show and the child. As a general rule, letting really young kids watch wrestling probably isn't a good idea. They're likely not ready to process and compartmentalize some of the violent (and occasionally scary) imagery or the light sexual innuendo of WWE. I didn't let my children watch when they were toddlers, especially the one who was prone to nightmares. When my kids both got to the point where I could properly explain that wrestling was a show like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then I became comfortable with them watching, although both of them have only shown a passing interest.
I'd add that old ECW shows, the Attitude Era, or some of the extreme angles from Japan would also be the kind of content that should give parents/guardians reasons to be concerned with very young kids watching. The current WWE content is obviously much more kid-friendly than those type of shows were.

this reminds me, I was able to watch a couple years back bc for some reason my Uncle used to record every raw and ppv on VHS so I watched old stuff when I began actually getting into it. I would watch the weekly shows and then between them I'd catch up on all I missed. Craziest moment Ive always wanted to look up was a Raw that ended with Stone Cold basically crucified by the Undertaker to close the show. Never seen what happened next. I should do that.

I used to watch it on ESPN, in the mid 80's, because that's what my dad watched all the time. Wrestling would come on and my dad would go mow the lawn or something. But I was glued from the jump.
I cringe looking back at some of the angles I witnessed but didnt understand watching as a kid with my parents. As someone said though, with it being for the most part a PG product now, any age would be considered acceptable. My nephew just turned 5, won't be long until I'm looking into introducing him.
