Let’s say after the Starrcade debacle Sting decides to jumpship to the WWF. Could he have fit in with the attitude era? Obviously we’d get Sting v. Taker, Sting v. Rock, Sting v. Austin, but who else could’ve worked with the Stinger in the WWF? Would he ever be WWF Champion? Will Vince McMahon allow him to? Do you think WCW would’ve folded earlier than it did without Sting? What’s Sting’s legacy following this?

Here's a legitimate concern, does Sting fall from the rafters instead of Owen? Does Owen fall at all as it seems WWE was copying Sting in WCW?

I think it would have been more interesting had Sting jumped anywhere between 89-92. How does that effect Warrior, Hogan, etc?

Owens death was planned I used to think the "Vince Russo is solely and exclusively responsible for the death of Owen Hart" narrative couldn't sink any lower, but here you are. Wow. Here's a legitimate concern, does Sting fall from the rafters instead of Owen? Does Owen fall at all as it seems WWE was copying Sting in WCW? My guess is no. I think the differentiating factor between the two is the quick release mechanism. Sting always dropped to his feet, undid the latch attached to the harness, and then did his thing. It was always a bit of a production on the spot to get him unhooked. I believe the decision was made to utilize the quick release with Owen, due to the "need" for him to make the comical drop from a few feet above the mat, which ultimately wound up being key in the accident occurring.

I think Sting would have definitely wrestled Mankind. It would have been interesting to see Crow Sting vs Mankind.

The WCW wrestlers of late 80's/early 90's didn't look as roided up as the cartoon wrestlers of the WWF. Barry Windham, Bobby Eaton etc. Maybe Sting would have taken steroids with Bulldog and Warrior and be dead now if he would have joined the WWF.

Sting would have eventually been wwe champion after Vince has Rock first cut him down with his “who in the blue hell are you?” “It doesn’t Matter!” lines. And then he had Austin further destroy his credibility with something just as asinine as the Austin/Booker grocery store crap. But after that like with Booker Sting would have overcome that crap and become WWE champion.

Sting was more likely to jump ship in the late 80s according to...well Sting. Then again he wanted to join in 2001, but after seeing Booker T and the Rock saying to him "who the hell are you", Sting refused.

If he jumped ship during his surfer days he would've fit in and most likely got a big babyface push but as crow during the AE? highly unlikely.
Sting will always be in my eyes the heart and soul of WCW. As bad as that company got in it's last years, he stuck with it to the bitter end. Mad respect for that.

As the Crow character on a show that was beating Vince in the ratings initially he would have been treated like crap being fed to the WWE roster by Vince. But he would have eventually become WWE Heavyweight Champion. If he jumped in the 80’s he would have had a more instant success and would become a WWE Heavyweight Champion in far less time in the WWE than he would had he honors as the Crow in ‘97.

He probably would've been better than Warrior because he had the ability to connect with everyone. Wrestlemania VI would've been perfect for Sting's WWF title win and run.

A version of Warrior that could actually wrestle and the roster would have enjoyed being around.

I'd have lost my tihs is what! Post Starcade until TNA was the prime time,I think. I watch his TNA debut and think if only WWE had managed to get that Sting. Maybe he could have played a role in the return of deadman Undertaker.

Sting beats Hogan for the title, work with feuds like Sting vs. Earthquake, Sting vs. Rude, Sting as the American hero beating Sgt. Slaughter at Wrestlemania 7, Sting vs. Macho King, Sting vs. the Undertaker, list goes on...
