The leader of the bad guys from the Road Warrior movie. Back in the Memphis Territory, Lord Humongous was a gimmick wrestler in the 80's based on the movie-several no-name, local wrestlers wrestled under the hockey mask with the only notable one being Sid Eudy, Sid Vicious-then Sycho Sid in the WWF...I did a fix-up back in the day, although I could never find a great mask-this one looks good-but needs to be whiter to look like the original.Yeah. While I never saw him wrestle because we didn’t get that in NJ (just WWF, NWA and occasionally the AWA) I do remember seeing him in the various wrestling magazines. But I just wanted to talk about the Road Warrior movie last night. lol

Then he put it on the Sid figure. He was playing with it and showed it to me. I smiled because I thought it was funny that Sid wore a similar mask early on in his career. I also know I've seen clips on youtube of a wrestler in Puerto Rico wearing a Jason mask back in the day as well.

Leatherface and Jason and weird ripoff gimmicks like that were a common thing in Japan too

One of sids failed gimmicks! It was NOT failed...Sid was learning his chops as a wrestler then, infact he played LH better than any before or after...again this was before the era of copyright infringement....Memphis use to play current music with videos of their wrestlers and used clearly copyrighted images, music and characters before anyone complained...now this would NEVER happen, however it was NEVER a FAILED gimmick. I grew up in Memphis and watch the Memphis territory for 20+ years...even today, Vince uses bits & pieces as he loves Lawler (who was the booker/owner/wrestler in the Memphis territory) as well as Jerry Jarrett, the ONLY man Vince ever considered running his company before his children were grown or HHH was in the picture. Talk to any older wrestler...from the Rock, Hogan, Warrior, Sting, Flair-they all came through Memphis and experienced the good & the bad there....payoffs for the wrestlers were awful.

I remember a Humongous in Mid-South. Came to the ring blasting "War Machine" and had decent feuds with Jake Roberts and Terry Taylor. Not sure if was Sid or someone else in the role, but I thought he was a cool Jason Voorhees-type of character. Don't think I'd seen the Mad Max flicks at that point.
Definitely need the Demos S&M straps.

And was the last movie in the original trilogy to feature the last of the v8 interceptors. And the last Tina Turner-less Mad Max until Fury Road Lord Humongous enjoys torturing innocent children in his spare time, long walks through the endless desert while dragging his enemies on a choke chain and at times has been known to be an avid Village People fanatic "I like the way the dress" he said in an interview on Post Apocalyptic TIME magazine.
