With Hamill & Bisping. That was one of the most intellectually- disabled decisions I have ever seen in my life. Hamill had that fight cleary, but he loses by split decision? Bull ****. Anyone care to dispute this?

coming from a huge UFC fan in myself, I'm disgusted. Mat Hamill was robbed, he won that fight. I call a fix. Hamill dominated, and I am disgusted with the UFC.

There grooming Bisping not only as there next big star but since it was in his hometown they gave him it....I honestly believed they did the same thing with the Rampage fight...but thats just me....I honestly think they asked Henderson to throw it....but its all good
oh and "undercard at best" Mirko Cro Cop sucks

Cecil Peoples was responsible for that garbage. He scored the fight 29-28 for Bisping. Someone please fire this clown.

^ Yeah, I totally agree. It was a very poor decision and Matt Hamill definitely won that fight. No question about it. I think Bisping himself knows that he clearly lost that fight, but he won't let-on.
Also, if you are trying to dispute the fact that Cro-Cop sucks, good luck there because in my opinion, he does. If he's half as bad & fearsome and dominant as Pride and the UFC would have you believe he is, he would've demoed Gonzaga, had his fight with Couture and probably be UFC Heavyweight champ right now.
But, seeing as he's clearly the opposite, odds on he'll NEVER get a crack at the Heavyweight belt, let alone holding it. He's lost too many fights to be considered a contender or a threat to the Heavyweight title now. There's many other people waiting in the wings and in the rankings.
I thought Cro-Cop was supposed to be some bad-ass, dominant force to be reckoned with, but he's not even close. Matter of fact, his entire stay in the UFC hasn't impressed me one damn bit and has been a complete bust so far.
This fight with Kongo was a do or die situation for Cro-Cop and he lost. He was coming off a loss to Gonzaga and just like Rich Franklin said a while back, two losses back to back can be detremental to a career. And that's where Cro-Cop is at, at this point.
I don't even know who Cro-Cop would face now at this point. Maybe Tim Sylvia or Andrei Arlovski or maybe someone beneath them in the rankings like Marcio Cruz or Paul Buentello or even Frank Mir.
Like I said in the other thread, it'll be a good year & a half to two years before Cro-Cop even gets a crack at the Heavyweight belt now because there's other guys to get their chance at Couture and Cro-Cop has to work his way back up to contension because he's nowhere close.

I don't think Hamill 'dominated', but I probably would have given it to Hamill.
Bisping only got a few good shots all match, and Matt impressed me. I agree that Hamill should have won, but disagree that Bisping got dominated.

Everyone goes through bad streaks in their career. Randy Couture, for example, has a 16-8 record, and is the current UFC Heavyweight champion. Just because Cro Cop lost two fights doesn't mean he's not a good fighter. I definitely agree that he has been disappointing in the UFC, but I still think that he would dominate MOST fighters in that division. BJ Penn has lost 3 of his last 5 fights; but most people still consider him one of the top-4 welterweights in the world - and one of the top-3 lightweights. |

Wasn't a good decision, I had Bisping winning the second round but the other 2 rounds i would have given to Hamill.
I thought Bisping was really good on his feet in the second, using his jab and keeping a good distance between the 2 of them.
Although Hamill had countless takedowns he never really did anything when he took bisping down.
Bisping maybe could have argued he deserved a draw because he let his hands go in the 3rd as well and maybe won half the round but IMO Hamill should have won 29-28.

they should have a rematch, watch hamill destroy bisbing again

I was there. The way I figure it, the judges are quite rightly taking more notice of takedown defence and scoring for a fighter being able to get back to his feet quickly. Hamill was able to take Bisping down, but completely unable to hold him to the mat. I agree with Bisping's win.

I don't believe Cro Cop sucks now. No way, But he has defiantly been fighting like crap. He needs to buckle down and concentrate on fighting and destroying his oppenant and not backdown. Like people thought "look at the size difference between Kongo and Cro Cop" Well he destroyed Bob Sapp and made him cry. Sure Boib Sapp is pretty crappy but the man is  ing huge and powerful. He would defiantly make highlight reels in the UFC thats for sure. He is trying to improve his Ground game but it's a little late for Cro Cop. He should just train on slipping out of take downs and such and knocking the crap out of people. Just my two cents. |

Hamill got screwed over, that was the biggest load of BS ever.
Rampage/Henderson was a little bit of a let down,
I was very disappointed in Cro Cop as well. He's lost 2 fights in a row for the first time in his career. He'll probably get another chance, but If he looses another fight he could be out of the UFC. Although Kongo did impress me alot in the fight, he could be real good in the future.

I would have scored the fight 29-28 Hamil if not 29-27 just because he made Bisping look really bad in the first round. I think the judges need to make the scores more reflective of how the round went if the round was close score it 10-9 if it was dominated 10-8 or even 10-7.

Hey, while we're at it, anyone catch the Brock Lesnar name-drop? If only he'd drop some weight, and by some I mean alot, I'd love a Jackson-Lesnar fight.
But yeah, on topic, I thought it was a decision based on "where we at?"
I think they tried to build Bisping as the guy to win, especially with the "Born in the USA" bit. But I think anyone who watches the fight has there own view of the win.

he was totally robbed especially hearing the judges scores one scored it 30-27 for besping what was he watching theres no way if besping did win won it by that big of advantage ......it was way closer than that ....Hamil was robbed

1) bas rutten vs randleman
2) hamill vs bisbing
3) tito vs forrest
