It was basically WWE week in Toronto last week and i was able to meet a bunch of wrestlers, i won't go into to much deal on all of the days since TheChamp617 basically covered it.
Monday: Kevin Owens did a signing at a signing before Raw at Real Sports Apparel and it was my 2nd time meeting him, he was super nice and friendly the 1st time i met him, the staff at the store said KO would sign anything you wanted, i just had him sign a card.
Tuesday: Rusev did a signing before Smackdown at the same store (Real Sports Apparel) Kevin Owens did. When it was my turn to meet him i wished him a Happy Rusev Day and had him sign my program twice since the staff said you could get anything you wanted signed. Then Christian did a surprise signing inside the arena before Smackdown, i heared a few people talking about it in line waiting for Rusev but didn't believe them since it wasn't announced anywhere beforehand. When i entered the arena a security guard was yelling out "WWE Legend Christian is signing autographs in section 110" whit wasn't to far from where i entered so i walked over there, got a wristband and was one of the 1st 15 people in line, Christian then came out of an elevator with 2 security guards and then began signing autographs, like the 1st time i met him he was nice and we had a 2 minute conversation, wish it would have been announced a few days before he was signing since i would have brought something, atleast the 8x10 i got looks nice.
Thursday: It was Fan Expo which is Canada's biggest Comic Con of the year i normally wouldn't go but when Triple H, Charlotte Flair, The Miz and AJ Styles were announced as signing a few weeks ago i knew i had to go since it could be my only chance at meeting Triple H. Figuring that Triple H's line was going to massive i bought a VIP for him which included 1 autograph, 1 professional Photo Op and VIP Front of the line axxess for that specific person (more on that later). I got to the convention centre around 1 PM so could pick up my admission ticket and my Triple H VIP since that was the time listed i could pick it up. I pick up my admission ticket and i'm told the i have to go to a separate desk INSIDE the expo to pick up my VIP ticket. I ask a few volunteers to clarify this fact, they all had different answers. I along with a bunch of other people around me were mystified with the stupidity this but little did we know it was gonna get worse!
While I was waiting in line to get into this poorly organized Expo the staff kept moving everyone with WWE VIP tickets around, it was clear they didn't know what the hell they were doing. Eventually an hour or so later the people who bought WWE VIP's were escorted downstairs to the desk pick up their VIP tickets, after pick up my Triple H VIP and waiting to go on the escalator upstairs to join the line to get into the expo i ran into TheChamp617 and we waited line to get in. After we finally got in we found the signing area and where everyone was signing, checked out the small display they had and bought our autograph tickets, i was not happy they raised the prices to "include tax" from what was listed on the Fan Expo website a few days before. I bought 2 Charlotte Flair autographs and 1 Miz autograph, Champ bought 2 AJ Styles and 1 Miz autographs, we also got 8x10's for everyone since they had them if you didn't bring anything to sign. We then wondered around the building a bit looking for figures. After that we waited to join the line up for our Triple H photo op. We ran into fellow member ARUN while waiting in line and to nobody's surprise the Triple H Photo Op started late. We where heard through the line like cattle, We got our 8x10's of our photo op and went to Triple H's line which was pure hell (read Champs report for more details). Basically the greedy b@$t@&ds oversold the VIP and Ultimate VIP (1 auto, 1 pro photo op and Front Of The Line VIP axxess ahead of regular VIP's and everyone else) tickets and Triple H's line was massive. The dumb volunteers merged the VIP and regular line and it was chaos, Triple H stated signing late and it was basically an assembly line, you handed your autograph ticket(s) to a handler, then you handed whatever you where getting signed to another handler and it was passed down a few times until Triple H signed it then it was passed back to you, Triple H had his head down signing anything that was put in front of him, not saying a word. Another handler was yelling no picture, but i was able to sneak one of Triple H signing my 8X10 so screw him.
We then headed over to Miz's line and waited in the regular line since we were technically Triple H VIP's only. Me and Champ where informed by a volunteer who noticed our VIP wristbands that we could join the VIP line, we basically said f%@& it and joined the line because the wristband were just a checkered pattern and didn't distinguish a specific wrestler. The Miz was extremely nice and friendly, i had him sign his page in a program witch was next to John Morrison who signed his page a few years go and we talked about him for a bit. After that me and Champ said our goodbyes to each other while he went to AJ's line and i went to Charlotte's line. I decided to jump in the VIP line just to see if they let me and guess what the clueless volunteers didn't notice!
In a nice surprise while waiting in line i saw Tim White who was there as AJ Styles's handler walk by so i went up to him and asked for his autograph and he signed by program! When it was my turn to meet Charlotte i handed her handler my figure and a paint pen but she was a little distracted because another one of the handlers was asking her questions so she started signing the figure with a marker before i pointed out i had my own paint pen, she quickly apologized. Luckily it was just the C so it was mostly covered with the paint pen.
Overall it was one the most poorly organized and chaotic signings i've ever been to so a big f#@^ you goes to the Fan Expo promoters, i will never go there again.
