Also features The Great Khali and Bill Goldberg. But anyway RIP man. Wrong "The Longest Yard" movie. I'm referring to the original '74 flick that had Burt in the lead role Sandler reprised in the remake. Gotcha! Yeah once I had posted it I thought 'wasn't it Sandler?'

RIP Burt. Surprised nobody has mentioned The Longest Yard. One of my favorite "football" films. Also features The Great Khali and Bill Goldberg. But anyway RIP man. I think he might be talking about the original, where Burt was the star. But the remake was a good movie too, and Burt was great in that too. Loved the movies he did that had the gag reels during the credits. The Cannonball Run movies were good for that too, and those movies just seemed like it was a set where everyone was just having fun.

Tried embedding a tweet Bret Hart posted, but wasn't working.
I had the pleasure to see Burt recently. Although visibly frail, he remembered me. I thanked him for his part of Wrestlemania X. He was a real fan, thoroughly enjoyed the event, the wrestlers & fans. He was a class act and I’m honoured to have been able to tell him that. R.I.P.

I’m saddened by this, Smokey and the Bandit is one of my favorite movies of all time and I’m sad that he’s gone.
