So I am in the middle of watching the old WCW Nitro shows from 1995, since I never seen them when they aired, and Malenko and Benoit vs. Mr. JL and Guerrero took place. And I always noticed on the back of Malenko that he had a little line go up his hair, where hair never grew. So I always wondered what that was about.
Well the camera got a close look in that match and I swear I saw a scar go from his head down his neck, like he would have had surgery there for perhaps a broken neck. But even if so, the dude wrestled so crisp and clean for his entire career, it's hard to imagine he had neck surgery.
Does anyone know anything about any Malenko neck injuries early on in his career??
