Former TNA World Tag Team Champion, "The Tennessee Cowboy" James Storm, was one of the special guests on this past week's live edition of Monday Night Mayhem (08/29/07), which can be heard in streaming audio every week (hosted by The Big Mosh & Blade, and heard LIVE at 8PM ET/7PM CT every Monday night) exclusively on The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network
"The Tennessee Cowboy's return to The Mayhem can now be heard for FREE in Real Audio.
Here are some of the highlights from the interview provided by Mayhem listener, Daniel1991.
========================= ========================= ===================
*Mosh & Blade welcomed James Storm to back to the program -- his first appearance on The Mayhem airwaves as a full-time singles competitor. As many fans of TNA have been seeing over the past few weeks, James has been searching high & low for "The War Machine" Rhino throughout the United States, in various bars & night clubs. Mosh had to break the news to Storm, that unfortunately, Rhino was not @ The Mayhem's studios, nor in The Mayhem's hometown of Buffalo, NY. Storm chimed in with his thoughts on where Rhino could be, possibly in a bar in Tokyo...sampling some Japanese beverages of his choosing.
*To squash any rumors of an America's Most Wanted reunion, James answered Mosh's question on the subject with a "Hell no." No chance of AMW getting back together fans. James said he has been enjoying his current singles run with the company.
*With regards to his current program with Rhino, James strongly believes that just like "The War Machine," he gives 110% in the ring, and he owes it to the fans who pay their hard-earned money to see a great feud between the two of them -- especially on PPV? After seeing a tremendous brawl between the two TNA stars before on Pay-Per-View, are we in for Round II next Sunday at No Surrender?
*James is also looking forward to competing at this Monday's show in Syracuse, NY @ the NY State Fairgrounds, TNA's first-ever show in the state of New York. He expects the fans to go home happy, and that they will deliver "more than that other company that runs in that area."
*Storm said that he cannot speak for others within TNA, but he is very happy with the company right now. He is definitely in favor of other stars coming into TNA, if they can make a positive difference -- such as helping boost the iMPACT ratings. However, if they cannot do not deliver, then there other guys in the company that have been in TNA longer, that would be more than willing to step into their spot. James describes the business as a "dog eat dog" world...meaning if you cannot perform to your expectations, their will always be someone there who could indeed take your place. His mission is to continue to bust his @ss, and prove that he belongs in his spot within TNA Wrestling.
*Mosh & Blade asked James about what he thinks TNA needs as their final ingredient to get them to their next level, whether it be one large free agent signing (such as Brock Lesnar), or the bringing in of several stars & the continuation of pushing their already-established roster of talent. Storm agrees with the latter of the two, saying that guys like himself, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, & others as a whole will be able to get them to compete with the WWE.
*James feels that Spike TV has done plenty of successful things for TNA as a company, as well as himself personally & professionally. He added that Spike TV can continue to make great strides for TNA -- especially with the rumored two-hour timeslot.
*Blade & Mosh asked James who he would like to work with if given the opportunity to in the months to come within TNA. Storm said that he would like to have a good program with "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and/or "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe.
*Like a lot of wrestling fans throughout the world, James is looking forward to the upcoming TNA iMPACT video game to be released in 2008. Storm said that it is going to be a great game, and when the fans play it, it will be a lot easier to control than the WWE video games.
*In closing, James said that the negative reports that are made about the wrestling business & TNA specifically do not bother him. He strongly believes that people are going to say what they are going to say nonetheless, and there is nothing that he can do about it. It's easier to try & brush things off, because if not, those individuals know they are getting to you.

I pulled this from TNAWrestlingNews.com & was bored so I checked out the interview & I must say James Storm is a one of these guys who seems to know what he's talking about.
