Yes, as wrestlers, they know the risks. Anything can happen and they KNOW that.... and they do go to work, knowing that 1 screw up, and they could be seriously hurt. Policemen, firemen, football players, pretty much any profession that requires physical activity has hazards to them the slightest mistake can cost you dearly. Yet somehow pro wrestlers shouldn't be taken care of? Seems very wrong to me. Were they blocked from taking out their own insurance?

if you dont get insurance through an employer, insurance can be very expensive and i imagine if you're a pro wrestler rates aren't friendly. remember not everyone is making main event money. anyway it's indicative of a larger problem in America, which is the only industrialized nation on earth not to view health care as a right all people rich or poor should have access to

On the topic of insurance I remember hearing that wrestlers and I think a few musicians as well, would "work" at a hometown grocery store and do like meet and greets and local radio spots or tv ads in exchange for getting employee benefits such as insurance. I never looked into it more but always heard that some people did that.
In terms of the impact of making wrestling figures, I would like to see a few made. My top want probably from the list is Black Top Bully. Dynamite Kid had sued as well but wasn't part of this lawsuit. The Bulldogs are pretty high up for me.

A lot of names on that list I’d like figures or repaints of. I hope wwe reaches out and signs these guys sooner rather than later.

Not really. You go to work knowing it will be physically demanding. No one goes to work knowing they will be seriously hurt. I also feel that wwe should hook these men and women up with medical insurance. Sabu suing WWE when he destroyed his body in ECW & FMW was ridiculous. Obviously WWE is evil for not giving health insurance but a lot of these guys were getting hurt in different companies Absolute truth. Sabu was an animal in ECW.

I know it was a short lived gimmick, but I think they could be some of the best figures in the line if they ever get made. It was such a unique and wild look.
