I'll have to keep posting pics every time I go to the store just to prove they are peg warming No question on the tons of Series 3 they have and keep putting out at the Targets in my area. Have you seen any of the Series 4 or 5 yet at any of them? I could see New Day peg warming maybe but I'd be kind of surprised if the Savage and Flair did. series 3 has been out for almost 1 year. Of course they aren’t moving. Everyone who wants them has them. Target needs to move on and stock the newer series.

And if everyone who wants them has them is true like you say, that proves that it has limited appeal. NICHE!

NICHE! so what action figures still sell after being out for a year? Especially a series of 4. It’s not like series 3 was 10 figures and people had to slowly complete the set. Issue is there was a huge delay from series 3 to series 4 and stores obviously ordered to many.

I guarantee if this store mainly had the newer Flair, Macho Man and Sting figures, they would be moving very quickly... it seems to me (regardless of whether they're niche or not or for kids or collectors) that the interest is mainly in the Legends/Flashback-type figures. It's not hard to see why either - so I hope Mattel takes it on board for (hopefully) future series...

DUDE! It's not like they just put these out! They have been warming pegs since they came out! No one bought them then and no one buys them now!
I give up. If you can't see that these don't sell well, just keep making excuses. Ignore proof and logic I guess.

AJ seems to sell good, don't see him around here anymore. Just the other 3.

That might have been the case for Toys R Us also I don't know. The one time I got to go back there in forever right before they announced they were closing they were well stocked on Series 3 also. I haven't checked the Kmart in my area yet so if anyone could tell me how well the Series 4 and Series 6 have been moving at all there so far. I can tell you though that in the PA Targets where I have always checked they did sell out the first times they were stocked. And then after that all the kept putting out was Series 3 until all anyone probably wanted myself included was the next series of figures to be stocked. If all they kept putting out were the same Elites or Basics from the last year or two years ago, I couldn't see them moving very well at all too. But it wouldn't be fair for me to say nobody wants Elites or Basics anymore and Mattel should just give up and cancel them. I understand at the end of the day we can all just order online to end all our woes. But as fair as the good old brick and mortar foot traffic goes, it's not really fair to hang the Retro line out to dry as a failure with the way it was so badly managed by orders.

Im a big supporter of this line but I’m not going to sit here and say these are flying off shelves. I think the point some are trying to make is Mattel and these retail stores aren’t doing the line any favors. If retros had better support and cleaner distribution, the line would be healthier.

I’d love to feel that way, but these have been a major disappointment. Lack of names, too much time in between releases... same old same old...

So we got a nice teaser that we will finally get a retro Diesel and haven’t seen a proto yet. And the series with HBk,Sheamus,y2j,and Angle was list from October to January. I’m going crazy over here with the lack of new retros, I don’t know why these don’t just go to online and be done with it. I must have completely missed it...Can you please link to the Diesel teaser? I have a custom hasbro Diesel using the old mannix head but still this would be great

They just super imposed a silhouete of his shape with the word diesel on the chest over the last set of figs they showed. They also teased goldust in a video by holding a wig accessorie.

I just got series 6 this month so no withdrawals but I feel like I’ve always ordered the ones online that end up in Australia later and waited on ones I thought we’d get and regretted it.

Sorry to break it to you but the series is selling otherwise Mattel wouldn't continue to commit to the line. Too easy.

Then TRU started stocking them in the beginning of 2018. Then finally, after all that, then Target got them in too. Target got them in after everyone else. Of course they didn't move well. The price increase turned off casuals, and hardcores that wanted them had already had them by other means long before Target hung the first figure on the pegs.

Wishful thinking but hoping they moved series 7 to next year in order to get rid of the app and stands. Thinking maybe they had a contract for a year where they had to continue advertising for the app.

Thinking maybe they had a contract for a year where they had to continue advertising for the app. Yeah, but they have already been up for preorders, so doubtful. Would be nice though, maybe for series 8 assuming these still see release. And really wishful thinking that Goldust AND Diesel are part of S9, and they've finally figured out that flashbacks are more wanted than current roster.
