This is a huge bummer and shocker to me. I mean, it'd make logical sense. Ubisoft has the money to buy the rights from Warner Brothers for Batman and Wolf, 2k for Borderlands, and Image Comics to finish up Walking Dead. Even if Marvel is too rich for their taste, they can do that much. Plus it opens up new avenues for Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Rayman/Rabbids, Far Cry, and maybe a revival of one of their classic series such as Iron Lord to get Telltale style games from side characters in the franchises or new lore set in new ideas. |

If Ubisoft got the rights to finish The Wolf Among Us, that would be nice although I don't think they'd make it a "Telltale style" game - I JUST WANT MORE BIGBY!!!!!
As a big AC fan, I'd be interested in seeing how a linear, narrative-driven AC game would be like.

Basically, we need to hold out hope that Ubisoft keeps up with their initial plans to buy out the rights after the Skybound contract is fulfilled, otherwise TTG as we know it is dead and we'll just have Dontnod and Focus Home as our point and click fix. |

Only update I knew of was that Skybound is gonna finish the final TWD. Haven't heard anything past the cancellation of TWAU2. Double sadface. I felt like TWAU had an unfinished ending that really deserved a sequel. The way it ended felt so incomplete, yet I enjoyed every minute of that game. |
