I just found his DM figure loose & complete at the flea market for $5. So I'm checking him out. His front tights have a pic of him & Savage. His backside has the WWF title with the words MEANS MUCH MORE THAN THIS. Seems like a bold statement to make. Also seems like something Hulk & Vince wouldn't approve. Did he get any backlash from this? I'm guessing it wasn't a big deal since I've never heard of this or mentioned before elsewhere

Well it is kind of true.
One man's career was supposed to end that night. Which is a lot more than being WWE Champion, if you don't have a career to even compete for the WWE Championship.

It was a career match. They were perfect for it. It had a pic of the title with the "means more than this" which means its more than a title

You may occasionally strike gold once in a while though. Ive bought Elite Yoshi Tatsu, Randy Savage, Jake the Snake and Akeem figures for $1 each at mine. |

More like prophetic given it's the only match that matters from WrestleMania 7 nearly 30 years later. One of the best matches of both guys careers and quite possibly, the best Wrestlemania match that doesnt have Shawn Michaels in it. |
