I hoping this thread can be stickied. I'm going to build a list with the help of all of you. Places to buy figs in Canada, whether it be a second hand toy store, independent store, or even flea markets.
Alternatives to Toys R Us and Walmart.
I often wonder if there's somewhere local I can look for a figure instead of going to eBay with their ridiculous fees and awful global shipping program.
As you all post places on this thread, I'll update this main post.
Alberta: - Gios Sports Cards (Edmonton)
British Columbia:
- Toy Traders (Langley) - Vancouver Flea Market (Vancouver) - Taz Comics (Burnaby)
Manitoba:
- Hot Shot Collectibles (Can’t remember where it’s located, but Winnipeg Local wrestler Danny Dugan runs it.)
New Brunswick:
New Foundland & Labrador:
Nova Scotia:
- Pabi's in Wolfville Can't confirm if they have figures - Scotia Gaming & Toys Store (Truro)
Ontario: Bounty Hunter Toys - Hamilton - always a good collection of loose legends and flashbacks when I have been here. Lots of recent series moc as well. Sometimes some US exclusives, too.
The Toy Society - Cambridge - Sometimes they have loose elites and basics, but more so they stock loose Hasbro figures and LJN.
The Pickering Flea Market - Pickering - not sure if the wrestling figure guy is still there. He used to have a bunch of MOC Jakks and Mattel Legends. I bought demolition from him for $20 each. Hillbilly Jim for $10, and Ultimate Warrior with IC belt for $15. All MOC.
Toys Toys Toys - multiple locations in the GTA. - Stock differs store to store but they stock defining moments figures still, WrestleMania 31 Undertaker, TNF series with Rollins, Random elite lines, and some US exclusives occasionally like Nitro Notables.
Rockets - Chatham - they do sell wrestling figures. LJNs, Hasbro, Jakks, Mattel. Most loose, but there is quite a bit MOC there too. He bases his prices off of eBay though, so take that for what it's worth. Quebec:
Prince Edward Island:
Saskatchewan:

Added and formatted a bit for easier viewing.
Format being:
Name (Location),
Make sure to use commas to separate your stores to make things easier to read as this thread grows.
Great idea btw!

Don't have much of anything in Nova Scotia. The only real alternative to the big chains is Kijiji. There is a store called Pabi's that's located in Wolfville I believe. I haven't been and the stock isn't regular. More of a toy and hobby pawn shop than anything. Specializing more in vintage stuff.

There is a hobby shop in Chatham, Ontario called "Rockets" and they do sell wrestling figures. LJNs, Hasbro, Jakks, Mattel. Most loose, but there is quite a bit MOC there too. He bases his prices off of eBay though, so take that for what it's worth.

Hey man, Rockets is in Chatham, not Cambridge. Just in case anyone gets confused.

Rockets is not a place I would recommend wasting your time unless you enjoy paying ridiculous prices for only the newest moc because his usual customers pick the store clean before anyone else would even know he had a new shipment. Or you can buy overpriced, loose trash from one of their bins. Been there many times years agowhen I lived near there. IMO it’s not worth anyone’s time unless you can get him to pre order what you want. But be warned, it’ll cost ya lol

Some people may not mind paying more, but it's good to know information like this before visiting.
