Hello,
Would you guys be able to assist me in providing details for any Mattel ELITE figures in 1997 WCW attires?
I know this is incredibly specific and niche but any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

E36 DDP
HoF or Hall of Champions Eddie Guerrero (The latter is more early WWF mixed with WCW but either time could work)
E45 Lord Steven Regal
RSC Kevin Nash could work if E16 is hard to come by.

Pretty sure HOF is WWF attire. HOF Eddie Guerrero is WCW Halloween Havoc 1997 tights but reversed colours with a 2000 WWF Latino Heat shirt. Eddie never wore half black/half gold tights in WWF so it fits WCW more but is overall an inaccurate figure for any look in general.

Never would’ve guessed there were so many. Are these all pretty 1997 specific? I know it’s weird but I’m kinda anal about being able to match the attires to a match or event from 1997.

I was basically going by the roses and Latino Heat shirt as I know he never had them in WCW. Guess it's slightly more WWF because of the accessories.

If I was to put an AJ Styles “the face that runs the place” t-shirt on one of his TNA attire figures would that mean it depicted his WWE look? No. Rey Mysterio and Dean Malenko have been released with WWE Cruiserweight titles but have been based off their WCW looks in the past too.

I think every fig listed would work as representative of 1997 WCW, excepting maybe Flair and Piper's hair (as those are not WCW-specific figures), and Luger's 1996 facepaint which, with patience, is removable. That said, I know that Mysterio is specific to Starrcade '96, but the overall look is indicative of his pre-unmasked WCW career, so for me it would work. Your mileage may vary.

Piper had short hair and a goatee in 97...To say either his HOF or Legends figure could pass for a 97 Piper is not accurate.

Trying to put together my own WCW/NWA-ish elite collection. Here are the ones I can pick out that fit into 1997.

Savage" Macho Man Ringside Collectables Exclusive - "NWO Wolfpac Kevin Nash" (sans accessories) Hall of Fame 4 Pack - Larry Zbyszko (Starcade 97), Scott Hall Hall of Fame 4 Pack Heenan Family - Mr. Perfect (Curt Hennig)

Piper had short hair and a goatee in 97...To say either his HOF or Legends figure could pass for a 97 Piper is not accurate. That's why I said "more or less" as that detail might bother some more than others. Again, same for Flair. And if the OP extends back to Halloween Havoc '96 then the long hair would be quite accurate.

Thanks for all your help guys. I’m glad I made this post.
I am quite a stickler for this kind of thing so I’d want to be able to trace the exact look and attire to an actual 1997 show or event.
