Monday night was the start of the fall season for a lot of shows which was what I watched (CBS) both Monday and Tuesday. I DVR’ed both RAW and SD, but I didn’t watch them until the following mornings.

Finally I think that the WWE has to hire writers who know WRESTLING. If that means giving the Road Agents more creative control then I am all for this. Those guys understand wrestling as they came from through the business. Oh you didn’t know?

I haven't watched RAW in awhile. Nielsen Ratings are rigged anyway

I get it, it's a tough time of the year. I mean, Monday Night Football is on...and Monday Night Kickoff, SportsCenter at midnight, Hannity, Rachel Maddow, Tucker Carlson, Last Word, The Story, Special Report, The Ingraham Angle, The Five, Dancing With The Stars, Big Bang Theory, The Voice, The Resident, and Penn & Teller. They had a lot of competition in the attitude era as well... Truth, including DIRECT COMPETITION from WCW.

Tv ratings are outdated
Majority of the world now dvrs or watches digitally
The product might be awful but it doesn’t matter wwe has never been more profitable and at the end of the day that all that mtters

Not surprising. No improvement in quality + football season + fall TV season starting = ratings drastic go down. Doesn't take a genetic freak to figure that one out.

Just to put an emphasis on my comments last week about people going elsewhere for their WWE fix....
Last night's segment with HBK/Taker/Kane/Triple H has 2,370,026 views on YouTube. Ronda vs Ruby has 1,195,751 views. And Ambrose's open to RAW has 1,372,127 views. All less than 24 hours after RAW.

Yeah man you nailed it....back before DVRs & Devices, if you missed Raw, you didn’t see the show unless you used a VHS & recorded it....nowadays if you miss it live, there’s countless ways to go back & watch it

WWE just isn't must-see TV anymore.
For the most part, you can not watch for months and really not miss anything. Also, as others have stated, if you miss it live you can just go on their site or YouTube and get the abbreviated version without any of the useless filler. And there is a LOT of that these days.

Yep. Popular shows like Big Bang Theory and Game of Thrones do huge ratings still. DVRs have been around for years. Youtube clips, too. WWE's ratings have plumeted in the last 3-4 years... which have been incredibly uninspired and boring. It's not a coincidence.

Who gives a ? TV ratings mean less in 2018 than they ever have before. Stock is way up. YouTube ad revenue is steady. Network money is still rolling in. They're making Saudi money now. Nielsen.

It lost me when most of them got into steady relationships. Anyway, the ratings may have been steadily declining for years, but they have absolutely plummeted over the last few. When your main viewer demographic becomes males over 50, it's pretty telling. Then again, they still get handed billion-dollar TV deals, so I guess it doesn't really matter in the end.

WWE is a successful company in 2018 They’re just a horrible wrestling company
They are more like a circus at this point, they go town to town and put on the show, little differences each time, pieces re arranged ...but basically, if you’ve seen it once, you’ve seen it

When we start hearing that USA starts freaking out about it, then they have a huge problem on their hands

When we start hearing that USA starts freaking out about it, then they have a huge problem on their hands USA and FOX arent paying $205-265 million/year for 2.0 ratings. FOX has cancelled shows with way higher ratings than Raw, some of them after a few episodes, so I wonder how much of this they will tolerate.

From what I've seen from watching the big 4 events, IMO this is what is wrong with today's product...
Horrible announcers
All the guys today have real names( What happened to originality? Wrestling NEEDS characters/personalities. Without em we get bland guys like we see today.)
All this LED BS( Remember the good ol' days when ppv sets looked awesome and the ring had traditional aprons and posts? Not anymore...)
Crap storylines
Raw being 3 hours
Terrible tag teams
Nothing feels compelling anymore
I can go on and on but I'll leave it at this.
In closing I'm not surprised Raw got the lowest rating in the shows history. The rating represents the product as a whole...Atrocious.
Once again the perfect explanation of whats wrong. Completely agree. Its sad how bad and overproduced it is now and how good it could be if they made the changes we are all crying out for. The trouble is as the money keeps flowing and shows keep selling out it will never change and obviously will never go back to the golden days we remember.
