Has ringside considered shipping loose to cut down on shipping costs? I'm a loose collector and don't care about packaging. Being in Canada, shipping is expensive. If I could lower the shipping price by shipping loose that would be great.

They sell damaged package figures for a few bucks cheaper than the MOC price.

I'm talking about them opening the moc figures at a customer's request and shipping loose. I request that often through eBay

They did when they had their big flood sale. Every now and then they’ll have a loose figure listed. I know DM Jericho was sold loose without belts recently. They also have sold the belts in the belt pack loose.

I am sure they aren’t going to do that. That's a bummer. I guess as the consumer you'd have to waive some rights and Mattel probably wouldn't like it. I was just thinking of ways to keep shipping down. I went to place a $113 order and shipping was $47 so I abandoned the cart. I think I need a US address lol

I hate when people do this to me and I doubt they’d do it.
Sick of people trying to make me open a moc figure and sell it cheaper

I asked someone to do this for me recently on eBay for Maryse and they gladly obliged. They got the same amount for the figure, I got a figure without packaging I was just going to throw away anyways (for less total cost), and USPS didn't get as much money.

You might save $2 on shipping witj a single figure. Not a major loss really. Even with bulk orders, the weight doesn’t change much, dimension isn’t much of a factor until you get beyond a 14x14x14.

A loose figure is more likely to be damaged in transit than one packaged, resulting in more claims, unless you want them to wrap the figure in bubble wrap and box it, in which case it probably wouldnt be cheaper, what with having to pay someone to do the extra work involved

It’s worth contacting them. Never hurts to ask.

I’ve got a guy on eBay who can ship me up to 6 figures for the same price as one large moc figure. It can actually make a huge difference. Anytime I buy from members here I can get at least 3-4 figs for the price of shipping one moc. It’s the difference between me paying over $60 for goldberg eg or getting 3-4 figs that would average to about 30-40 each. Or the difference between buying and not buying at times.

I could see offering an option to ship loose items being handy, but it may not be worth it to RSC to go through that trouble, and may not save that much in shipping unless you're placing a large order I suppose.

They sell damaged package figures for a few bucks cheaper than the MOC price. They're almost always only a dollar cheaper
