I paid less for RSC Jericho a few months ago than I did when it originally came out. Its still available to buy though so thats not a good example at all, i should have made my point extra clear because i know how the internet is sometimes. Any of the retired ringside exclusives sell for more once retired than they ever did when available from ringside, i.e the American Made Hogan, or HBK Shawn Michaels, Macho King legends etc etc But that’s not what you said. I also recently paid considerably less for RSC Flash Rey Mysterio compared to when it came out.

I am very picky. I buy about 10-12 figures per year. And every once in a while I will sell one off too. You’re a better collector than am I. I’m lucky to get 6 figures per year. I’ve got the new flashback set coming up I plan to purchase as a whole but nothing else is screaming for my attention.

Yah probably the reason why I'm behind. I don't mind though, it keeps collecting interesting like it was when I 1st started to collect Mattel elites/legends.

Living in Canada it's even worse.
We don't get half of what the USA gets.
I remember a few months ago when the USA were freaking out over Canada getting the Shark figure first.... when you know, you guys have Game Stop, Target, Walgreens, and that 5 Below store to get all these awesome elite wrestling figures. Ones that we will never see in our stores.

Just like with their programming, there's something for everybody. No need to consume all of it.

Where did your stats come from? %s etc? Id like to read that, id be very interested to know how many toy collectors there are now compared to 30 years ago. Also, how on earth can you say how many elites will have survived in 30 years time? Because just look at how many people on this forum alone collect MOC. Then look at eBay. They are everywhere. To believe that your elite big e is gonna be worth anything is pure insanity. Look at funko. A FAR BIGGER resale market than wwe figures. The rarest pieces made in the last few years are going for maybe $200. And these are 5000 pieces limited editions or around there. Wwe figures are produced in numbers that dwarf that. Compared to old funko products before they were popular, some of which sell for thousands. Unless you get every figure at 5 below, you're gonna lose money when you sell. For every ses cm punk, there are 10 basic lanas. Be realistic. The only figures that will be worth something are the current stars they made once or a few times or exclusives. Guys like Elite Gabriel, Basic Maryse (who may of gone down with the exclusive I'm not too sure) but again there's been a few times when they've said these figures have clogged shelves and then gone on to be rare.

Mattel are turning into a joke company with there quality, shipping, supplying (Even though I know it's not all there fault) the whole process doesn't make me want to spend money on elites. Since the UK loses a figure per series and 80% of the time it seems to be the one people want. I know there's online but for some that's about £40 per figure which for me and a lot of people a waste of money. Ringside have bought in a cheaper shipping which is fantastic but now there's reports of people getting custom charges which ruins it because now the fun is, will I get this figure for £20 or pay another £20 for custom charges. But whoever decides who goes in each line or where it goes should be fired. The UK Champion shouldn't be an American exclusive, that defy's the target audience but we get the Berzerker which not many people will want and Smyths goes and gets 5 row's full of them. And with the quality of Mattel it's not worth taking risks online because it's hassle sorting it out.

Yes. lol Not to hijack this thread, but this topic got me thinking. Rather than start a new topic, I thought it was related to this one:
So yesterday I came home and saw a box from RSC at my door. I was a bit shocked because I thought I had received everything I ordered and pre-ordered. The package contained the Undisputed Era Three Pack, which was surprising to me because I had been on the fence about buying it.
Confused as to how I got this, I looked through my account and saw that I had not ordered it. BUT, then I checked my spam emails and saw that I pre-ordered Undisputed Era and the Top Talent Elite AJ Styles (Separate Orders) but through my paypal account.
"Cool story. Whatever." - Signed Everybody
Anyways, it got me thinking, with the amount of pre-orders and released figures, how often have you forgotten what you've pre-ordered? I was deciding this weekend to order Undisputed Era, and am thankful that I didn't. Otherwise I'd have wound up with two.
