I’m afraid he’ll fall into limbo like Kevin Owens has since ending his feud with Shane and AJ last year. Owens has been wasted all year and I’m afraid Joe will slip into that too.

Before this feud with Styles he had been pretty much irrelevant since he was shipped to Smackdown. Biggest mistake of the Shakeup for me was moving him off Raw. He already was, but could have been positioned better to be Roman's top full-time rival. And even when he came up short over Dat Dude, Joe had Balor, Seth, even Braun to face. But no, we need him to give one up to Reigns before sending him off to the Indy show to appease the internet nerds. And he needs a title dammit! |

The problem is, now there’s nothing for him to do. They booked themselves into a corner with him AND Orton since there are no big babyfaces on SD! left to feud with... sure one of them can intefere in the Styles/Bryan match, but why? Bryan vs Miz is not really done I guess, and the other midcard champion is a heel too, so that won’t happen.
The next best faces are Jeff Hardy (who is currently on a break to heal up) and the New Day (yes, a tag team.)

His heel run hasn't been as good as expected and never really kicked off from the "sorry, me no speak Engrish" promo. Infact his best moment involved kicking a guy in the nuts. |

I think Joe goes into a feud with Shinsuke Nakamura over the WWE United States Championship considering Joe has come up short in the WWE Championship picture over and over I would like to see this. |

Let me see if I can summarize this storyline:
Person A comes out demanding to make a name for himself on SDL
Stalks the family of one of the main stars on the Brand
COmes out on the losing end 3x despite getting the upperhand psychologically, and in some cases, physically.
Disappears from TV for a while due to injury
I'm pretty sure with the exception of the main star being the WWE Champion, I just described the Undertaker DDP feud.
Don't be surprised if you see Joe with a giant smile on his face going
