Zero reason to have one figure shortpacked in a BAF case. That's why you put a figure like that in a BAF set. It makes people buy him to finish the BAF.
After all this time, Mattel still can't toy.

I'm really looking forward to Harley Race and Jake Roberts. Race is one of the last Jakks displayed in my collection. I like your avatar picture. Do you know when/where that was from? It is a very unique attire I've not seen him wear.

What era is this Jake from? It was from 1996, Jake wore the same attire the entire year. I think he got rid of the vest in 1997. TheBadGuyChico is correct that they referenced his 1996 Royal Rumble return for the attire. However, if I remember correctly, he did not have the yellow python at that time he had a brown and black python. What era is this Jake from? 1996 Rumble return.

It is a very unique attire I've not seen him wear. He wore it in a tag match with Sherri vs Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire. It's on a old colosseum home video. It's on the WWE network under Vault and 'home video classics' the video is called "Hottest Matches October 25th, 1990. There are a few other unique attires I hadn't seen him wear on those old home videos.

Found the set tonight and the Race is one of the best figures Mattel has ever done. Jake is also MUCH better in person. Austin is underwhelming, Steamboat is cool, and the Commissioner HBK is pretty bad. Glad I found the set already without having to drive all over the place.

Just found them this morning in Utica, NY. Unfortunately, the Race and Steamboat were gone, but there were 2 Austin’s and 1 Jake.

Lawd, Mattel picked COMPLETELY the wrong torso for this Jake. >_< I might get one of my peeps to put a fatter torso on it.

Mattel need a database of all the correct parts available for each character, and if the correct parts dont exist they need to make them instead of using incorrect parts They have a database, that's what the whole 'spreadsheet' thing is about that many on here keep making fun of and which comes up in discussions when wrong parts are used for certain figures. Personally, I don't understand why some people think they wouldn't maintain a listing of all figures and the parts used to make each individual wrestler?! Mattel has been making wrestling figures for 8 years now and have made figures of well over 100 different wrestlers/superstars. It appears however, that parts choices for some certain talent (Jake Roberts torso for example) have changed for some unknown reason?!
