It’s much better as a tag team match. Lita is just sad to watch in the ring and Alexa isn’t good enough to work through the combined 24 years of ring rust that ‘Team Bestie’ (barf, they were better as enemies) has built up. Sasha could have pulled a great match out of Trish, but it’s pretty obvious WWE doesn’t care about putting on good matches since they are pushing The Bella Twins and still employ Dana Brooke. Alexa is actually pretty damn decent in the ring and improving more and more.

Its just pathetic the WWE keeps going to the retirement home in order to find somebody to move the needle.

Its just pathetic the WWE keeps going to the retirement home in order to find somebody to move the needle. Lets not exaggerate their ages. They still look pretty damn good.

Why did Alexa/Trish turn into a tag team match anyway? Alexa injured? Maybe injury, maybe ring rust from Trish & Lita. Better to have a tag team match atm where they can hit a few big moves each than expose them to lengthy singles matches I guess.

Its just pathetic the WWE keeps going to the retirement home in order to find somebody to move the needle. It's almost as if what Kevin Nash in a recent interview is true. Nobody cares about the younger guys. I hate to say it, but Kevin Nash is right about how nobody cares about the current wrestlers, but thats because they are booked in a way to make nobody care about them.

WWE books old stars as being bigger, better and more “main event” level than current stars.
When you have Undertaker, Triple H, Brock and apparently HBK main eventing shows over your current, younger “main event” talent then WWE is essentially saying they have no stars right now. Which they don’t.
Outside of Brock (if he even counts), WWE has no stars that are household names in 2018...or even close.

Im willing to guess that their "other matches" will just be filler for the inevitable Womens Tag Title tournament. They'll give us an eventual Trish/Lita vs Sasha/Bayley match so Sasha fans will finally stop ing whining and it will get the tournament a little credibility so we dont have to see filler teams like Dana Brooke & Alicia Fox or Lana & Naomi

If this was 2007, I'd be so excited.

Trish "GOAT"? Not in the real world. She was never that good in the ring. That's like saying Hulk Hogan isn't in that conversation. Charisma, look, mass appeal, and wrestling ability. Couple the sum of those with the right time and right place.... and yea Trish is the greatest. What others have surpassed her in wrestling ability, she makes up for in charisma and overall popularity. She was a household name. The only place Trish Stratus was ever a "household name"... was in her own household. Chyna was a bigger deal than her.

Ronda definitely applies. Cena applies. That’s...that’s about it. Im still not convinced Ronda is a household name in terms of wrestling. When I hear the term "house hold name" that makes me feel that everyone knows who she is and what shes doing, regardless of what shes doing. Im willing to bet if you ask majority of non wrestling watchers they might know the name but most likely dont even know shes in the WWE.

Bandwagon UFC fans might not know she is in wrestling, but the hardcore ones sure do and they constantly bring up how she got her ass kicked so bad, she went to fake wrestling.
